Can’t wait to see how the next couple years unfold.

If we start losing and the club turns to shit, who will they blame?

When does Gus become accountable
I remember Gus saying when we signed Hook that it was his decision and he would be responsible for the outcome (or something similar).

It’s got to be a Cleary double play hasn’t it?

Still, friggen weird to do this shit 4 weeks before the finals.

After the 60th minute yesterday, I turned to my wife and said the coach has to go. I think the fact that we've pulled the last two games out of the fire says everything about the ability within the player group.

We need a coach that can harness the immense talent in this club and turn it into the juggernaut it should be.

I think in the last couple of weeks we have all heard Gould's frustration with these come from behind wins ? Cameron I'm sure will step into the breach so to speak.

Going forward can Panthers afford another high profile coach ? I think not.

Will that mean that Cameron along with Gould (over-seeing) coach in 19.

Replace with say Fittler, or someone else in 20.

Panthers do it big like their footy team

I was at the first home game this club played. I would have gone to Belmore the previous Sunday but it was too far for an 11 year old to travel on public transport, according to my Mum. I was also at the second home game, where we thrashed the 11 time premiers.

I think this whole episode has cheapened this club. I'd rather not win another game this year than just gun down a man who has done more than any other coach for this club and delivered success despite injuries and a squad that is the youngest in the NRL.

This meeting clearly has been handled appallingly. It should have waited until after the season was over. We were never winning it this year, maybe next. This just appears to be a clash between two men. Gould should do the honourable thing and hand in his resignation. We will never win a premiership with him either.

I wonder what Ivan Cleary is thinking right now.

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing. Good on those who have called for this though......me I tend to go along with the flow.

He knows the players. The last thing we need is a new coach carving the roster apart

Doesn’t make him a good first grade coach.

If we were on the cusp of signing a green or a Bellamy, have at it. The other options seem way less inviting.

I still want an explanation from the club.

Gus should absolutely go too.

As I’ve said a thousand times before, his handling of things the last few years has been poor. Interesting to see that other people are now seeing that too.

Me too. Last 2 coaches sacked. Captains not making seasons out. How long was Corey Payne here? So explaining is owed

At the 60 minute mark it was 30-24 and I knew we had them. But that's not my point here.
You have blamed the poor part on the coach and credited the good part to the players. A bit unfair, it must be said. You are not alone in this around here and whoever gets the job will receive the same treatment.

We were really only significantly inferior to the Raiders in the six minutes before half time anyway.
