You have absolutely no idea what was discussed during contract negotiations.

I would suggest to you the discussions between the relevant player managers and Gus Gould would have focused almost entirely on the length of the deal and the money involved.

There are a lot of coaches without jobs at the moment. His payout is supposed to be around the $800k mark, that's two years at a very nice standard of living. I'd back him to pick up another gig within that time on the back of his record here, if not in the NRL, then in the SuperLeague.

I'm not a supporter of your club, but my best mate is a panthers supporter, so I've always had a bit of a soft spot for you guys.

I've been thinking about your last few years, and what you need to make that final transformation from development club to NRL powerhouse.

Looking at the last couple of years, I think that you guys would be best served by having a coach that can get the very best out of your players from the start of the season. A strong start with a simple game plan would work wonders for your team, and as the season progresses, the natural talent of your players will shine.

There is only one man for this job. Mary mcgregor. We'd miss him terribly, but in the spirit of sharing and caring I'd (magnanimously) like to volunteer him.

I'd also be happy to gift wrap the merkin and express post him.

He wont get another NRL job. His winning percentage is not an accurate representation of his coaching abilities.

If what Gould says is correct, Dave O’Neill the panthers chairman has to go.

He’s basically gone behind the panthers board back & created all this mid season drama. Griffin was going to go at the end of the season, but O’Neill brought things on without telling anyone.

Only Blake, JFH and Cleary aren't re-signed though... Anyway could still of done it at a better time
