He was practically bragging thst only 6 guys from the 2016 Round 1 squad were left here... and seemed to be of the opinion debuting players was more important than having a roster that could win the comp.

Someone mentioned that about him and he kind of confirmed it.

He likes young players because he can be that father figure to them, he gets to teach them etc and they are just happy to be there in FG so they lap it up.
