well, with arguably the most unambitious boring halfback to have ever played the modern game as our coach, I'd expect things to get worse before they get better.

More uncontested midfield bombs to the corners.

I expect Taylor to take us all the way to the wooden spoon next season, there is a distinct possibility we may even match the bye for win/losses under this clowns reign.

So James Roberts is on the market.

Good thing we bought a hooker we don't need with the only cash we had free

The crazy thing is, we could have at least been in a position do so.

We never needed another hooker. Even if Taylor wanted Farah gone, Cherrington is more than ready to fill in and if needed, Halatau can cover him.

Signing Ballin was nothing but a power play, but it's been the most ridiculously immature and moronic one possible.

We could have not signed Ballin and had that coin sitting spare. Imagine going into the season with a backline containing the speed of Tedesco, Simona, Roberts, Nofoaluma, Naiqama and even Brooks and Moses are pretty damn quick We would arguably have the fastest backline in the comp.

But no, we're now carrying the best hooker in the state as a back up to a lesser version of practically the same age, both of whom will nearly ensure that Cherrington will get less game time which is the direct opposite of what should happen.

Taylor could have had his powerplay and just forced Farah to play 40 minutes per game. This stupid act could possibly cost us the development and loyalty of a very talented young hooker and the opportunity to sign a genuine quality player in an area where we are lacking (Centre/back row)

It's this petulant amateurism that I hate the absolute most about Taylor.

He can't bang on about wanting to clean up the salary cap and then make downright moronic powerplay signings like Ballin which help none of the parties involved (the 3 hookers, the coach or the club)

How or why did the club officials allow this signing to take place?

This is all absolutely spot on and makes me so angry. Taylor must be amazed at how easy it has been for him to be so bad.

Pity the only one that can tackle is the fullback.

Yes magpie4ever but according to the deluded dope Taylor our defence has improved to justify the bias & preoccupation he has towards our pathetic defence which has regressed under this f**kwit.

If we don't get the spoon in '16 it will be a miracle.

Cannot argue against any of that. It is ridiculously frustrating. Seems like there is nothing that the fans can do about it either.

Not arguing that having Ballin and Farah at the same club is completely geniused, however Ive been told by a guy whos been proven to be in the know that we're paying around $100kpa for Ballin, so he's not exactly breaking the bank.

Apparently Tim Grant is all but a done deal and the RLW mole says we're chasing hard after Dale Copley

Both of those players will make a massive difference to your squad.

Tim Grant really suffered after being dropped from origin following Gus Goulds intervention. It eventually led to his departure at penrith and he never really picked up at souths. Will be looking to fire up.

Copley is fg quality and is miles better than Kevin who deserves a wing spot

The tweeter 'reading the play' has very good mail and is saying Bennett wants to keep Copley, don't automatically assume he'll be the one squeezed out.

He also said he would be 1000/1 to come to the Tigers lol

Word is Grant done deal and signed and Copley has signed with the Cowboys......Happy to get Grant, but once again the good sides get all the good players and the teams on struggle street have to pay double the odds or settle for rejects. Salary cap and the TPA system has stuffed the NRL

Grant would be a great pick up. Big aggressive prop who has did more than hold his own at Origin level (and was probably a little unlucky to get flicked). Playing with Woods could well bring the best out of him. Let's face it, if Woods goes down and we don't add anyone then we are getting steamrolled every single week.

On the subject of new signing a relative was saying at lunch yesterday he stopped off and watched the team training a week or so ago and he was impressed with both Griffin and McConnachie.

I know it is only early days with training but it sounds promising. He said both look deceptively quick. He said he wouldn't be surprised if both end up in the top team at some stage.

Here's hoping!!!!

Grant will be a handy pickup. He has the ability, just needs motivation. I think the Tigers will be a good club for him. Lots of young guys trying to prove themselves and playing alongside Woods and Farah will remind him that he is capable of playing at Origin level if he puts his mind to it.

Hope its true!

I was excited to see what Griffin and Mcconnachie will bring. The grant signing would have put them down the pecking order but hopefully Taylor will pick on form as opposed to reputation
