Who the hell is going to buy Moltzen ? No one is that stupid !!!

Apparently Manly have signed him.

Yep signed by Manly, might not be a bad pickup for them actually if he can remain fit. Wouldn't be on much coin and is a running 5/8. Will depend entirely on whether he can shek his injury woes. Moltzen wasn't actually a bad player, just was never a fullback and sheens tried to make him one.

According to Fox Sports, Wests Tigers have signed Josh Doddo-Carr from the under 20's Sharks on a one year deal. He can play fullback, wing and centre is 184cms tall and weighs 81kgs.

Actually not a bad signing for an U20's kid. Astute signing rather than speculative.

I don't know much about him (Carr) but he isn't very big based on those stats. Would be a little bit taller than Kurtis Rowe and about the same weight and I always thought he looked small on the field. I'd rather a big centre if we are looking to buy one.

Anyway, he might go alright so here's hoping.

Honestly, he is not a very good signing. He is shy of contact and doesn't like to tackle. Has a bad attitude as well.
I wanted him to succeed, and we were doing our best to re-sign him but he got the better of himself. Good NSW Cup depth but it will take a miracle to get him into first grade.

We signed him from Souths as a halfback and some how he ended up a three quarter.

Geez, our forward depth is light on for backrowers. I hope there is some action there soon. Not much available in the meat market- maybe re-sign Ava and Halatau for starters.

Just looking on Zero Tackle and there is not much there on the market. Maybe WT shoudl try to make a good attacking backrower? Sila is off contract, a reasonably speedy winger and good size- maybe could transition to back row. Lawrence has done it, maybe he could too.

There won't be any name recognition signings with the salary cap issues and general lack of $$$ affecting the club.

Some of these new blokes could turn out to be the next Blake Austin.

MF, if JT was looking to manufacture an attacking back rower I would have suggested signing Blake Ayshford from the Sharks for peanuts after spending the year in NSW Cup but now he is off to NZ. Big and quick at a bargain price.

Edwards could have some value. He's a strong defender and could play the role of bodyguard for Moses or Brooks (both are pretty dire). He can't be worse than Lovett.
