Yeah there's just not enough legit huge guys. Brock lesnar, carwin and overeem were the only decent fighters that filled out 265, brock is gone, carwin is as good as gone and overeem was on horse steroids to get that big.

Cain and werdum and jds etc etc are really just 230 guys, even mir and roy nelson and the other second tier guys. Roy nelson could go 205 actually.

Probably why I'm not so nervous for jbj to go hw now, they aren't really bigger guys than him.

On a side note I think the ufc should have an open weight division. For giant freaks and small guys who have the cajones to want to stand up to any challenger.

Plus wouldn't really justify the professional approach MMA is taking. Way too old school. But man it would be AWESOME to see.

I'd be keen on open weight fights. I'd also be keen on what GSP was talking about on Rogan with no time limit fights/rounds

Main Card
Middleweight Vitor Belfort vs. Luke Rockhold
Middleweight Ronaldo Souza vs. Chris Camozzi
Lightweight Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Evan Dunham
Middleweight Rafael Natal vs. Joao Zeferino

Preliminary card (Fuel TV)
Featherweight Hacran Dias vs. Nik Lentz
Lightweight Francisco Trinaldo vs. Mike Rio
Lightweight Gleison Tibau vs. John Cholish
Welterweight Paulo Thiago vs. Michel Prazeres
Bantamweight Yuri Alcantara vs. Iliarde Santos
Light Heavyweight Fabio Maldonado vs. Roger Hollett

Preliminary card (Facebook)
Flyweight John Lineker vs. Azamat Gashimov
Flyweight Jussier Formiga vs. Chris Cariaso
Lightweight Lucas Martins vs. Jeremy Larsen

Can't really get excited for this one, pretty dull card. Some interesting young fighters on the undercard but the main card sucks a fat one. Dos Anjos vs Dunham and Belfort vs Rockhold the only fights worth watching on paper.

Everyone seems to be writing off Belfort in this. Rockholds ufc debut... In brazil... Big ask!

Belfort is paying 2.25 for a KO on sportsbet. 1.95 straight up with Rockhold at 1.85

When there's that many Brazilians on the card I think you can expect a few finishes and a few scraps

I'll be having a piece of Belfort. Rockhold is talented but shouldn't be favourite IMO.

Shame I only had a tenner on.

Nice!

We should put up some bets for each event. I lost some money over the weekend so had to go for a sure fire which is why I took Vitor on ko/points. I could have taken Vitor by KO at 2.60 but i could see Vitor winning the 1st and stealing 2 rounds at home if it made it out of the first.

I love putting UFC into NRL and NBA multis. Had a great one a few weeks back with Jones via KO and Souths 1-12 under 36 total points in the match with an NBA game thrown in also.

There is some great value going around at the moment with the Strikeforce guys coming over, a lot of average punters are throwing money in the wrong places.

I regularly cleaned out in the pre-UFC 100 days but Australian bookies have smartened up as the popularity has increased over here.

Badass card. BTW Special K mentioned to post wagers, this weekend I have:

a 5-leg multi of:
- Maynard
- Bermudez
- Nurmagomedov
- Stephens
- Bowles

Will return about $50 for a $10 bet, which is a little larger than I usually put into a multi because I had a healthy win last weekend. The only leg I'm concerned about is Bermudez, I think Max Holloway is a good little scrapper.

I also put a small side bet on Te Huna. Will probably have a larger covering side wager after the weigh-ins, looking at Maynard or Cerrone.
