I'd retire too if I was GSP, that decision was highway robbery, taking a break roughly translates to I don't want to rematch Hendricks

Was a stinker of a decision that's for sure.

Hendricks looked more like the defending champion who hasn't been beaten for 6 years.

Funny enough 2 of the judges have GSP the first round this the split decision, I'm sorry but no way did GSP win the first round

I'm pretty shattered for Hendricks...

I thought the Lawler fight might go that way also.... No way was that a split decision.

I think it was close enough on rounds that it could have gone either way. In those circumstances the champ often gets the sway. Same as the Jones win

That's the thing though... None of the rounds Henricks won were close...

The closest was the first round... And Hendricks hurt him badly and could have finished him in that round.

I understand what your saying... But Hendricks won clearly... That doesn't apply in this instance.

What Florian said on the wrap up rang true with me though. That there is no points for damage.

I personally thought Hendricks won but I understand the decision

They showed the scorecards... It was the first round that the 2 judges gave to GSP.

No way in hell GSP won that round. Beaten up badly on the feet... Got rocked in the stand up... And even took GSP down...

Staggeringly bad from the judges...

Yep, it's was such a no brainer of a decision. Hendricks easily won 3 and you could argue the 5th was his as well. Only round I gave GSP was the round Big Rig seemed to be kicking back and conserving some fuel.

Both the Tristar boys in GSP and Macdonald looked flat on this card. Rory Mac is usually a stone cold killer but seemed to hesitate when he felt Lawlers power. Lawler looking good recently as well.

God damn I love watching a switched on Cowboy as well. Such beautiful fluid style of Muay Thai. His step up knee is so good. Such good timing to hit it like he does as well. Beautiful sub as well, and good to see he got the bonus money for it.

Sucks for Hendricks but if you leave it up to the judges this is what can happen. I'm happy for it to go to GSP but certainly wouldn't have complained if it went the other way. You need to finish the champ to take his belt.

I must have missed the part of the 'Rules of the Octagon' graphic where that was on it...

The irony with that statement is your asking the challenger to do so something the champion hasn't done for almost half a decade...

Apparently GSP outstruck Hendricks in round 1 and had longer control on the ground. I thought Hendricks had won but with those stats I can see how two judges gave GSP round 1.

Sux to be GSP's face right now.

Still finding it hard to believe they have that to GSP.... And I had money on GSP

Also it's so stupid when people say you can't leave it in the hands of the judges. Why have them then?

Lol Don't be so anal bro obviously it's not in the rules of the octagon. I wasn't quoting the rules of the octagon when I made that statement but ill be more clearer for you in future.

Like I said I wouldn't hav complained if it went the other way Hendricks prob did enough to win it but at the end of the day when your in a title against one of the GOAT's your gonna have to be more decisive to get nod from the judges IMO. Same thing happened to Gustafson I thought he could have got the decision but when it's close like that it often goes to the champ. Especially when the champ is GSP who is a decision specialist.

If a rematch doesn't happen and GSP rides into the sunset, a fight between Lawler and Hendricks for the vacated title would be the way to go, just as Lawler suggested it.

Also don't know if Rashad was that good or chael was that bad, but loved seeing Rashad get the win, one of my favourites.
