Still finding it hard to believe they have that to GSP.... And I had money on GSP

Also it's so stupid when people say you can't leave it in the hands of the judges. Why have them then?

That's the shit thing about mma, the sport is growing rapidly and the judges are getting more and more incompetent, it's in a fighters best interest to go for the finish and not leave it to a lottery.

I know but it's stupid.

I agree with Ariel. The ufc should blow it up and create their own judges aka nfl, nba style.

That's the thing though... None of the rounds Henricks won were close...

The closest was the first round... And Hendricks hurt him badly and could have finished him in that round.

I understand what your saying... But Hendricks won clearly... That doesn't apply in this instance.

That happened round two.

First round action was pretty even, GSP got a takedown, Hendricks scored some nice strikes as GSP was attempting a takedown, but otherwise it was pretty even.

I would have given the round to Hendricks but it was close.

Rounds 2 & 4 clearly were Hendricks, Rounds 3 & 5 clearly GSP. I thought Hendricks got round 1 though - but it was definitely close.

The disgrace was how one judge thought Rory Macdonald beat Lawler...

I think the bully is finished, personally I think those epic battles with Edgar and I guess letting the belt slip probably drained him emotionally, he just doesn't look like the same fighter, plus at 34 age isn't on his side. As for Nate I hear this will be his last fight at 155, and he'll be moving up full time to 170, I personally think that's a big mistake, I just don't see him being able to handle some of the bigger guys in that division like Hendricks, Rory Mac, Tyron Woodley, Stun gun, etc. He'd be giving up close to 20lbs come fight night against those guys.
Just on the 2 TUF finals, Holdsworth and Pena just looked like they were on a whole different level especially on the ground. Was kind of fitting that Holdsworth finished Grant when he took the back as Miesha had brought in Robert Drysdale as a guest coach and he worked extensively on finishing an opponent after taking the back.

Yup, I agree with everything you've said...

Nate at 155 is a beast IMO.

The Josh Thompson loss was disappointing but understandable after the massive let down of his title shot with Bendo.

When Nate is on at 155... He's a dangerous guy... And certainly capable of getting that strap.

I think he's more worried about getting in Gills way at LW. Which I can understand as they are pretty much brothers.

But there's some great fights at 155 for him even without fighting Gill.

Tbh I can't see Nate getting the strap, a perennial contender though and judging by salary reports definitely deserves a raise (can't believe he only got $15k to show and $15k to win not including OTN bonuses)

Anyone going to the Brisbane show?

I think he could get that strap depending on who the champ is....

I think Anthony Pettis is a really interesting match up for him...

Take a f**king bow you massive humans

What a scrap! Just pure heart and toughness shown by both! Like everyone is saying, I have never been so satisfied to hear a draw announced. I couldn't split them. Gave Bigfoot first 2 rounds and Hunt last 2.

Also thought Hunt could've stopped Bigfoot in the 4th had the ref not stopped the fight cos he couldn't tell if the cut was big or not.

Not debating the draw but no way did Hunt win the 4th round, Big Foot had full mount and was raining down thunderous ground and pound for the last min and half of the round.
