It's now Franklin Vs Henderson 2. I can understand why they have put this fight together but I can't say I'm overally excited about it. While I love both these blokes, I wish they could choose what weight division they want to fight in and go for it. Hendo IMO should get a shot at Silva for the middleweight title, but with Silva fighting Forrest it makes sence for Hendo to have a fight now. Hopefully it comes together.
My question is if Rich wins this fight, what next? Is he going to make a go of it in the light heavy weight division.

hendo should have waited and gone for Anderson silva's title... i think he will be a bit past it by the time he gets a shot at it now... the nearest would now ufc 108 which i think is in Jan or early Feb

Fedor Vs Barnett is off, Barnett caught using roids again. Rumour has it Vitor will step in.
I'm kinda excited to see how Vitor goes, he's my favourite fighter but am realistic on his chances. If he can get in quick and land some shots he'll have a chance, but the longer the fight goes Fedor will take it. Kinds sux watching 2 of your favourites go at it but this is the sport.

Affliction is dead, the next show is canceled and they're going back to be a clothing sponsor in the UFC. Not a big surprise really, they were never going to last with all the absurd contracts they gave out, Fatso Barnett testing positive was just the final nail in the coffin.

It's more likely we'll get a main event with Elvis Sinosic than any of the big name UFC fighters, but ultimately i'll be happy with any UFC show down here at all.

Rumours are that Rich/Hendo 2 may not happen and that Tito vs Franklin may be on the cards. UFC 103 is on the same night as the Mayweather fight so i think Dana may look at stacking this card to compete against Mayweather. Tito would certainly bring in the numbers.

I am pretty sure Dana said that fight would not happen till next year. After silva/griffin fight, silva will again defend his middleweight title and St Pierre will also defend his belt one more time. If they are both successful, no doubt will they meet up.

Adding the my previous post in regards to Franklin/Henderson. The rumour so far is that Franklin will take on Tito and Henderson will take on Vitor, the winner of that bout will have a shot at the title.

I am very excited to see Vitor back in the UFC.

I dont see how 185 pound GSP troubles 210+ pound Silva. It wouldnt live up to the hype, GSP would purely have to take Silva down constantly and hope to get a decision. Or Silva catches GSP
