Karmichael Hunt looks to be NZ player come anzac test time.

If he keeps going the way he played tonight he could be a bolter for the NZ side. Good to see class rookies coming through in the positions where NZ are thin (fullback and 5/8). For all the talk about Sonny-Bill Williams I think that Hunt and Benji Marshall wil easily beat him to Kiwi jerseys as NZ isn't exactly short of second rowers and centres.

We are actually short of centres. Nigel Vagana is a strong possibility to end up at stand-off like he did last year, either that or suspended. Vinnie Anderson plays back up second-row now. After that we have Whatuira or Williams to choose from. Sonny-Bill is an excellent bench option to cover centre, second-row, prop and wing if push comes to shove.

Injury in the backs, Timmins can cover centres. Berrigan can cover #9, Locky can cover #1. Wings are only potential problem but we can cope.

Can't NZ claim Brent Webb as a Maori and play him at hooker?? :lol: No offence to Latu, but his ball control is nowhere near test match standard. I wish UK based players could still come over because Swain is 10times the player Latu is. I would also love to see Motu Tony at 5/8, but am realistic enough to know that will never happen. Anyone agree with Hugh McGahan that Daniel Anderson has run his course in NZ?? I think he still has alot to offer the national side, I think it might be time for a change at the Warriors if they don't improve over the next few months.
