No Willow you are telling lies.

St George Dragons won those premierships.

St George-Illawarra Dragons won their maiden premiership on Sunday.

Now stop telling lies please.

St George Dragons were replaced by a new team called St George-Illawarra Dragons in 1998 at this point St George sacrificed their previous history and became the club we now have today.

Again I ask the question: does this also mean that all rugby league history prior to the formation of the NRL in 1998 is now sacrificed, given that the NRL came about as a merger of two entities just as St George Illawarra did?

Going by your logic, you would have to say yes. Given that, how many premierships have the Knights won?

Ofcourse not you goose the comp these teams played in merely changed.

Not the teams themselves or the past, the game it self merely became a new body, it didnt actually become a new code or any such.

Dragons did remain the same time like Sydney Bulldogs going to Canterbury Bulldogs or whatever, they became a completely different team when they merged with Illawarra to become the St George-Illawarra Dragons and as such their previous history is void.

The NRL is a merger of the ARL competition and Super League.

The St George Illawarra Dragons are a merger of the St George Dragons and Illawarra Steelers.

They are exactly the same thing. Either they both retain the history of the entities which created the merger, or neither do.

Which is it?

Hey Walt Flanigan, do you know you spelt your name wrong?

And Barroness, I thought you said you weren't going to answer any questions until you got the answers you wanted?

Tsk tsk... more porkies.

 So you're the magician now. Did this history disappear in a puff of smoke?

You contradicted yourself. By your logic, the previous history of the competition prior to 1998 is also null and void. You want it both ways.

The real is question is, why are you so concerned about it?

That is the funniest thing Ive ever read. Thatnk you. Now you are paying your way.

How can history be void? You cant void history because its, um, history.

you cant be Terminator because even he wasn't that dumb...

do you live near a smelter, or a large power station because that might explain your defective brain.

Worth noting that the posters who were death riding us in 2010 are usually the same that insist that we have no history.

The Baroness in particular got particularly toey...

Some 'bold' predictions in recent times:
Sadly enough you will choke in september and be belted in consecutive sets, its one of the highlights of the year!
your journey to chokedom 2010 will be complete......... Ahhhhhhhhhh

Baron Vo Mandor said:
Cuz when you's fall to peices its ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so satisfying!

I fully expect some suicides on this forum when you's choke again.....
Suck it up princess. It's obvious you couldn't pick your nose in a tissue factory.

Wishing death upon Saints supporters. The hate is obvious, and the pain of seeing us win on Sunday is abundantly clear.

Not a shred of credibility.

It wouldn't be the first time the Dragons have made mistakes with T-Shirts.

St George-Illawarra have 1 premiership. Fact.

The NRL orders premiership shirts, not the clubs. Likewise with all finals merchandise. The story later came out to be a fabrication, and it came from Waldron, a guy who clearly has good business ethics, someone who is lining up for the dole queue now. FACT.
