I don't know if their done but I can tell you Robbo was absolutely blasted last year for "poor" results when he "didn't have a team of superstars".

Bellamy seems beyond that criticism though when he still has a spine including Munster, Hughes and Grant at his disposal.

I'm not sure that's true. Most people were applauding the Roosters for making the finals despite having 17 of their Internationals out. Thankfully they still had the world's best fullback and centre to carry them.

Defence has been rubbish all year and now the attack has gone the same way.

Last few years storm has relied on having a few players with extraordinary speed to make small opportunities into tries they now have one of the slowest back lines in the game and have no real X factor. If rumours of getting Walsh are true I give them a chance, if not it will take something desperate like trying Coates at FB or bringing a half up from lower grades and Munster to FB

I don't know but gee I loved playing the Storm and not having every freakish bounce, half chance or wild throw of theirs come off for them for once

They could end up like Parra long term. A golden period followed by decades of mediocrity. The Eels in their 75 year existence have never won a premiership except when they had Sterlo at number 7. Maybe the Storm will be nothing without Smith at 9.

It’s a brave soul who’s willing to write Melbourne off…. I’d not be surprised to see them back firing on all cylinders come finals time.

The Storm are gone for this year

And after Munster leaves next year; they will be doomed to being in the bottom half for many years to come

4 loses in a row with a pretty good squad in key positions

could it be drama down in Mexico with those going to the Fins and Smith saying he wants to win a comp in an Easts jersey before the season starts?

for all the Dogs & Tigers cop from NRL360 this season so far - this should be addressed - when was the last time the Storm lost 4 in a row?

The NRL best be careful

if the Storm become uncompetitive the NRL will lose the battle with the AFL for Australian domination

AFL has its fingers in every state and is growing

the NRL only has one expansion team in Australia outside the heartland

if the Storm don't perform and get eyeball across southern Australia watching NRL, the Australian market on the whole, will be dominated by AFL

They'll be done we meet them in an epic 5 Vs 8 game.
We've got a radar lock on the 8th spot and have Melbourne in our sites.

NRL doesn’t care it will prop up failed Sydney teams untill the end of time. If we still had western Red and Adelaide Rams today the competition would be in better shape and have a brighter future. As it stands crowd numbers are pathetic and the new demographic moving into the ‘heartland’ of rugby league are not interested in the game.
Sadly is see the long term being Sydney centric comp to the point it is completely unsustainable and then it becomes are QLD comp with only well run clubs from Sydney (roosters, panthers, dogs) surviving

They'll have some serious cap space in next 2 years. They might do something very un storm like and sign a star or two.
