Umm, get your fact right

Our Next Origin game is 2009, Which is a QLD Game we are taking off them.

It is just sad that SOME COCKROACH SUPPORTERS can't count.
last year we had one game
this year we had one game
next year we get one game

= 3 games for NSW in 3 years

last year queensland had two games
this year 1 game
next year 2 games

=5 games in 3 years.

i don't care how successfull they've been on field, they have 10000 passionate supporters at most. Parra has 1/2 of western sydney.

Well western Sydney must be pretty small because you only average just over 13,000 people per home game. Oh that's right, the reason why the crowds are so sh*te for a team that's been around for 60 odd years is because Sydney people don't get off their arses to go and support their team. They're too busy sitting on them at home in front of the tv :sarcasm:

So...is the thread title sarcastic or what??? bellamy is a winging complaining moron...slater is a little punk who tries to get away with everything in the play the ball he can...it's only catching up to him now. Crocker, Kidwell and Walker...does anyone not hate these three fools???? add in the grapple tackles from Smith and co. and the ludacris fact they even have a team in the comp, when you look at what happened to North's...it's criminal....

Yeah, who could possibly find a reason not to like them???

I have a sneaking suspicion that the anger you display against the Storm is born out of the fact that everytime we play you we bend over and spank your arses like the little bitches you are

The club and supporters haven't recovered since 99 and all i can hope and pray is that we face you in the GF again this year and make those psychological even deeper. You aren't the Dragons when you play the Storm, you really should be known as the bunnies because that's what you are to us. Much like Cullinan was to Warney :D

Gee you are angry, but i would be too if i followed a team like yours . A classic sign you've really got to someone is when they start calling you names :D

It's a pity you couldn't get one of those wins against us a few weeks ago when we were without our origin players

Cant stand the storm. Partly for being introduced while a whole bunch of leaguies were losing their teams, some which had been around for 90 years, partly due to the stupidity/arrogence of some of their fans (eg telling Sydney what to do re stadium etc) and cos they are a bunch of wankers in that side (matty geyer and king aside). In short i dont like that club.

Well if you all got off your f*cking arses and actually went and supported your teams then the teams would never have folded or merged in the first place. Don't blame the Storm for that, blame yourselves. You all bitch and moan when a team goes down the tubes but the fact is that they never would've had you supported them. I know that may be hard for you Sydney folk to understand but it's so very simple really

The Bears spent a ton of cash signing players a la Muir and Dallas during the Super League war and a sh*tload on possibly one of the best back rows in the comp at the time (Larson, Moor and Farileigh).

They were going to move to Gosford and had a garanteed place in 200 but cos they spent so much money they went bst and merged with Manly. When the Northern Eagles experiment failed the license reverted to Manly and norths were oficially dead.

It didnt have that much to do with crowd support, more that money obviously wasn't well spent!

ye like we had a full strength team. Were you one of the melbourne supporters ringing the cowbells at parra stadium that day.

Agin, 13000 average and we are coming 14th, lets compare that with your average.

I personally live in Wollongong and dont get my p's for like 3 months, not always easy to get to sydney.

My team actually decided to help the NRL by expanding the game to CC but what happened? something went wrong n we got the arse. Its a crock of sh*t

By the way, your team averages less than a team that has been sh*thouse for 15 seasons and is the worst in the league. You guys only survive through being bankrolled. So dont go lecturing the heartland about attending games.

Good.

Bottom line: a major corporation backs us even though we get little support here. Even the smallest, lowly grassroots club has sponsors and backing FFS!

I don't care much for News Ltd bt the longer they keep giving us money the better.

Dallas wasnt a bad buy.

Why the hell did we buy Muir??? We had a completely awesome backrow we did not need Muir at all.

Another thing that happened was freaken rain. Rain meant that construction couldnt be completed meaning we had no home ground meaning we couldnt get the gate profits which was a large part in us going bankrupt.

If our management had any brain we would have stayed put at NSO for 1999, ensuring our stability, whilst then moving to a soundly completed stadium in 2000.

So i'm debating with a kid that doesn't even have his license yet?

Oh and we're not a rugby league state if you didn't know. But in saying that if you look at our crowds compared to the Sydney sides who've been around for 50-100 odd years, i reckon we're doing pretty well since Sydney is the 'heartland' of the game. Pffft, what a joke that is. Those teams should be getting at the very LEAST 10,000 more to games than what we do but the truth is it's only a few thousand more. It'd actually be funny if it wasn't true.

never said he was a bad buy. he went to the Bear on principle i.e staying with the ARL.

Signed in 1997. Gary Larson was playing front row by then.

The stadium was ready for norths in 2000 but they were insolvent by the time that rolled around and they merged with manly.

Yep, gopt anything to do with it??? Probly been watching league for longer than you anyway, and personaly am a 4th or 5th generation north sydney family.

We arent an AFL state but have done better than you. sure, sh*t crowds when we sucked, and it would be more understandable if you were a terrible team, but you guys a highly successful side of the last few years yet you rarely get above ten thousand!!! Whenever swans went well in the early days (hell even now) they get damn good crowds.
