I think NSW should be Cleary's team and he should get a massive say in who gets picked and how the team plays. His halves partner could be Luai, Walker or Moses and I think we will do great. If Teddy wants to play he is going to have to hand over the reigns to Nathan and be happy to be one of the clogs in the system. If not let Turbo or Latrell or even Edwards play.

Very disappointing game in the end. Before the game I had a good feeling the Wahs might get through but they just made way too many errors, which is strange considering they beat us by playing error free football and punishing us for ours.

It should be a great grand final. Clearly the 2 best teams in the comp by some margin. Shame they're both unlikeable in their own way.

I wasn't overly surprised by that result. The Warriors while a good story ultimately played 2 good games in the last 10. They had a great season to get to 4th, but the Broncos are on a another level.

Yeah, this is why I’m OK being knocked out when we did. We were never getting past Brisbane and it was much easier losing to the Warriors than it would have been Broncs.

Thought Warriors looked cooked from start, Johnson was quiet as were a few others, they played final against us and couldn’t lift for Broncos. Thought Broncos were strong if a little mistake ridden.

Reminds me of 2021 when the options were Penrith or Souffs and old man Bennett, the panthers weren’t so smug back then so was happy they denied Bennett another premiership. This year it’s even harder to pick a side

I discovered tonight how much I hate the Broncos. As much as I think Penrith have turned into a bunch of smug pricks, at 24-8 down I wanted nothing more than for the Panthers to find something. What a match from Cleary tonight, he'll have a legitimate claim to being the best ever if he can replicate that at Origin level.

What a match from Cleary tonight, he'll have a legitimate claim to being the best ever if he can replicate that at Origin level.

I know we got flogged by the Warriors, but even if we made the GF, these 2 teams are on a whole different level.

Was going for Broncos as the missus is a fan.
We have a long way to go to match it with either of these teams in a big game.
Unfortunately, I can see the Panthers winning quite a few more premierships over the next 5-10 years. It’s crazy how good they are.

Yeah I think it’s because he already know how smug and arrogant Penrith fans are (tbh probably justified) but Broncos are a whole unknown entity. Considering how arrogant they’ve been in the past and how arrogant they were just finishing second, I feel their smugness would have been even more insufferable if they had have won.

To be honest, with all the advantages they’ve had over their entire history, they should have won way more competitions recently.

They should have had more success than the Roosters in the NRL era. The Chooks are only in second place for having the most natural advantages. And it’s a pretty big gap between Brisbane and second. Being the only Brisbane team (until 2023) trumps anything any other club can offer.
