Considering that 20 players got a run, it's pretty impressive that the coach gave Lucas the full 80 minutes. I still think he's going to be elite in the next 2-3 years.

Meh - he hasn’t even played half a season of FG. Having a bad game now and again is going to happen. He’s proven he’s up to FG over and over in a couple of positions so I don’t think he’ll beat himself up too much.

It may not take that long to be honest. Give him another 18 months on his current trajectory and he’s up there with Martin and Crichton as NSW backrowers.

It’s going to be pretty hard to unseat either of those guys unless there’s an injury imo. Both of them have probably got a mortgage on their jersey for the foreseeable future.
