Meh - he hasn’t even played half a season of FG. Having a bad game now and again is going to happen. He’s proven he’s up to FG over and over in a couple of positions so I don’t think he’ll beat himself up too much.

It may not take that long to be honest. Give him another 18 months on his current trajectory and he’s up there with Martin and Crichton as NSW backrowers.

It’s going to be pretty hard to unseat either of those guys unless there’s an injury imo. Both of them have probably got a mortgage on their jersey for the foreseeable future.

From what I saw all the grades really struggled under the high ball right from the Australian schoolboys to the PMXIII. The wind was so bad that most of the players going for the high balls weren’t able to jump as there’d be a 2-3m deviation of the ball from the time someone went up for the ball to when the ball came down.

Yeah, I would say the only thing keeping him from being recognised as elite already is game time, for sure. He's performing at one hell of a level already. One of the real success stories of our year. Just needs to get picked where he belongs and keep doing what he's doing.
