Rooting a stranger or near stranger is nearly always good cause its all about lust. Both of you are into it for the same reason

Sex with someone you are in love with is even better because not only do you find them attractive but you also have an itimate emotional connection.

Banging a friend nearly always turns out to be a dud experience because you only really just kinda like them and you know a litte too much about them without the strong emotional connection. Basically, your just doing it because there are no other options

The real problem comes when there is a mismatch of intentions and feelings .
The thing is that when you have sex with a stranger or an acquaintance you really don't know their intentions or feelings .You can SAY you do about an acquaintance ,but unles you're clear on intimate things like what sex means to you then there is bound to be awkwardness after.
