& the frogs are still hopeless

the rest of the UK?
crickets chirping ......

whats the rest of the english plan to develop the code in France ?.. pathways etc
union isn't even the biggest sport in France like it is in NZ & the rest of the pacific

I'd suggest you poms stop focusing on Australias role in developing international RL & get off your lazy arses & do a bit yourselves

Let's not forget that the international game has never been stronger than it is now and never been played in more places. All that growth without a proper international calendar. Imagine when we get organised enough to get one of those - lol.

Seriously though, England came within 6 of winning the last world cup and they'll be in the fight for this one too. This world cup is wide open and for the first time ever it isn't inconceivable that any of Australia, NZ, Tonga, Samoa or England win it

The growth at the lower levels is great to see and to see so many internationals around the world taking place is excellent. Its weird that a time the bottom is doing so well the top has largely decided to abandon growth. The last RLWC and then the England tour were pretty underwhelming. Hopefully this WC will set the big nations back on to a better path.

Positive news. This might be the most successful WC ever. Let’s hope this pushes for more international games going forward (would love a return of the four nations).
By early July they ahd already sold more sponsorship and corporate boxes than any previous one.

Hopefully the fans now do their bit and get to as many games as they can not just the big ones.

Yeah would be nice to see the smaller games attracting decent crowds. But would be a great look for the game if we can sell out some of the big stadiums as well.

Great to see opening weekend of the national advertising blitz convert into strong sales. Hopefully this just compounds over the next 5 and a bit weeks of advertising.

In an email I got from the organisers before the 50 DTG, Australia v Fiji at Leeds is near capacity in Cat C & D and England v Greece is selling strongly as well.

Tickets currently off sale while they change the seating plans for some games, so theres more of the cheaper tickets which are selling better.

Hopefully the crowds deliver. Sometimes I feel like you hear a lot of talk about ticket sales only to be disappointed.
