It's not really a welcome to country. A welcome to country is spoken by an Aboriginal elder from the local tribe. The video thing at the start from the Aboriginal woman was a welcome to country. What the roos did wasn't even really an acknowledgement of country in the usual sense.
Not sure about that but the voice over when they were on the field called it ‘a welcome to Country’, which is different I guess.I thought that what JT called it when he was being interviewed by 7 beforehand.
Yes they did. If they're going to get it wrong at least it sounds good. Maybe they meant one of four to make the final. Although GB and England have both done so, which makes it five really.I am sure that at one stage (during the flag bit) they said France was only one of four winners of the RLWC !
