the backline is untested except hayne & inglis

cronk & DCE are both 7s and untested together

that pack will get eaten

and that bench is....well...the weakest of the big 3

but yeah...supermen australians...wwwaaahhhooo lol

Yet Walker was good enough to win the comp? Moylan Panthers player of the year. GI and Hayne will tear shreds off the opposing centres. DCE, Cronk play for QLD together. The pack will get into a position for the backs to do there stuff and again that will be the difference

Personally I wouldn't bring DCE in for thurston and force Cronk to 5/8. Slotting another 5/8 in would be much preferable.

As the current Origin winning 6, Josh Reynolds is the clear choice.... :sarcasm:

Inglis at 5/8 with Hayne at fullback could prove the best option though. Then bring Pearce or Hunt into the squad as back up

You mean Thurston is gone?! Oh NO!!!! That means we'll have to play .... Daley Cherry Evans. Sweet :D .

There's a mass of injuries, but I'm still backing us.

Injuries or no injuries, Australia will piss it in as per usual. They could lose another 4 or 5 halfbacks and still dominate with the talent pool they have.

It'll be the usual piss boring content between us and the Poms of who wins the right to get thrashed in the final.

We've been thrashed in a final against Australia once out of 5 finals.

Sadly. You are right. I would love for it to be a contest and probably will for 60mins or so then it will be business as usual

How many of these players missing "due to injury", would do the same if it was an origin or finals game?
