Like has already been said Broncos and Manly have top notch ones. Ours is pretty good too. Plenty of depth anyway.

did you not read the other 4-5 people say the same thing. grow up.

Just because someones opinion is different to yours doesnt mean you have to try and change theirs. Also just because your opinion is a majority or popular one it doesnt make it correct. Maybe thats why you get in like 3 or 4 arguments on here EVERYDAY becuase your so unwilling to accept opinions that differ to yours.

+1 to above post

I think Manly and Auckland are amazing (As much as it pains me the Broncos are on Par with those 2 as well) Sharks are looking great as well.

I am Happy with the Storms Backrow without being over enthused about it... To many Unknowns about it.

The Bulldogs Backrow is as bad as $ouths LOL

As far as backrows go id take Broncos, Manly and Sharkies in that order. My beloved Panthers are right down the bottom, i find it hard to believe a team with arguably the best lock/backrower(Lewis) in the comp has one of if not the the worst backrow rotation going around but unfortunatelyu thats where we're at.

Completely agree although id take tigers and sharks ahead of manly, not by much.

Panthers had one of the best backrows going round, hell one of the best packs. Petro is a loss, Waterhouse lost it last year, still have two crackers in grant and mckendry upfront though in my opinion.

Rubbish, Thaiday, Parker, Glenn, Teo, Gillet...

Myles, Harrison, Bird, Mino...

Blair, Heighington, Ellis, Fulton...

Firstly, the thing that sets Manly's back row apart from the others is the way they work together as a unit....Watmough, Stewart and Williams are all part of a unit that actually provides their halves with space...That is something that no other back row can attest to.....It's why the likes of DCE and Foran have made the transition to first grade with such aplomb where others have not, and why a certain halfback who left Manly last year to go to a rival team, did not make the impact that some thought he would.

The closest is probably the Tigers, but the mere existence of Glenn Stewart makes Manly a clear winner......

Brisbane have two exceptional back rowers, and a number of back rowers with exceptional potential......but they are yet to really dominate....

The titans back row is overrated in my humble opinion.

I'd completely disagree with your humble opinion, in my humble opinion Myles, Harrison, Bird, are as good as Manlys. Neither really scream to be better. Tigers would again be around the same with Blair, Ellis, Heighington. We are yet to see how Blair fits in but i think he will complete their backrow perfectly.

Broncos is a step above all.

Harrison is a honest hard worker but Origin makes him look far better then he is. Bird needs to be put in a perm position so he can settle into a rythm Myles needs to have some discipline beaten into him. Titans Backrow deffinately Overrated IMO.

Ican't belive it... I am going to agree with Doggiesbro about something.... Your comments about the Panthers backrow was actually quite accurate I am very keen to see who they use to replace the leaving talent. Petero left a massive hole.

Blair for the tigers was a very very bad buy IMO I really diddnt think they needed him at all.

Manlys Backrow is still a cut above the rest.... as mentioned its not the indvidual that makes them so good its the familiarity and well oiled teamwork they utilise that makes them so fearsome. Give me a champion team over a team of champs any day IMO.

Forgot about the Tigs, they are def one of the best backrows going aswell.

The Bronco's back row rotation does look formidable. They have loads of potential.

I wouldn't trade Manly's backrow for theirs though. Our rotation is just too impressive.

1. Manly
2. Broncos
3. Tigers
4. Sharks

I think these rankings are fair enough for the start of the 2012 season. It could all change though.

Agree with this I can't Belive Doggiesbro ranks Manly 4th? Im a Storm Fan and Hate the Seagles with all my heart but seriously there is no denying the talent in their backrow.

I'd probably say Manly > Brisbane. The starting 3 anyhow. Brisbane probably have the better bench.

Not much in it.

Bhurer is better than anything the Broncos have coming off the bench, this kid will be a gun.

I just find it too hard to rate any starting backrow the best with Tony Williams in it he's way too loose, doesn't make enough tackles and misses too many.

He is a Kid tho..... Some time in the off season with his game under the Microscope will hammer alot of that out of him. Still always hard to Judge on a season comming from a season past.

It was his fourth season this year, granted his first full season in the backrow but he's had defensive issues his whole career. You'd think we would've sign signs of it improving by now if it was going to.

Besides we're rating the backrows on what they've shown to date and I've yet to see him put in a starting performance where he pulled his weight in defence or even show the potential to. People get way too caught up in his strong runs, the roles Gulavou & Rodney have played over the last few years for Manly have gone so unnoticed yet been so far more important.
