That's right. Hayne knows by now that teams are out to bait him - it happens to all the great players until they prove they're above it. So far he's done nothing but prove that he'll let grubby bullshit get under his skin.
He can't control the refs or the opposition, but he can control himself.
I was at the game and saw the incident. It was the most disgraceful piece of refreeing I think I've seen. If Hayne wasn't awarded a penalty for that then let me tell you, you should never see a penalty for holding down a player in a tackle ever again.
Hayne attempted to lift himself to play the ball on 3 occassions and was shoved back down each time and ref was watching it the whole time. It was 5th tackle but that shouldn't mean anything. I was shaking my head for the next 5 minutes. Like Kornstar said, the ball should have been thrown at the ref. The penalty should have been blown well before Hayne was even shoved 3 times and he was layed on before that.
For people who say Hayne hasn't got discipline, I'll say yes he can improve a bit but he has had to cop some utter bullshit from referees and that scum dog Corey Payne deliberately tried to take him out of the game last year illegally and the refs did nothing about it. If I could see it in the stands, how the f**k did the ref, touch judges and video refs miss it?
Anyone saying Hayne is at fault for the incident on the weekend, I suggest you don't comment unless you saw the incident. If I was the refrees boss I'd have that ref sacked
