American craft beer blows ours away tbh. There are states with more high quality craft drops than our whole country. The mainstream stuff is piss though, bar Sam Adams which I love

The only problem being when you get one poured from a near empty keg it can be incredibly bitter, otherwise top notch shit.

Sam Adams is a pretty nice beer. Dan Murphys have only recently started selling Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and two other styles, the Pale Ale is an absolute revelation, pretty close to perfect.

Budweiser is NOT a good beer!!! I do agree with America having great craft beer. Gets me crazy! I'm gonna sound like a soft c*** but I love Miller Lite. Tastes like Pure Blonde and so easy to drink!! Especially with my favourite drinking game, Flip Cup!!!

Yeah Miller lite is the pick of the generic ones over there

Budwiser American Ale is not the bog standard Bud that you get in the red and white can/bottle. Its a different brew that is similar to JS Golden Ale

Little creatures pale and Fat yak are superior imo

That being said, the JS range is probably the best of all the Aussie brewed beers. Something in there for all tastes

I recently discovered Samuel Adams Dark Lager. Has a caramel texture due to the brewing process. Lovely stuff!

Tooheys Brewery (Nyrang St), they brew Heineken there under licence.

Ah! I suspected as much. The CUB Brewer at Abbotsford does a lot of that as well... Guinness (though my local has theirs imported from St James Gate) and Stella Artois and a bunch of others.

Mountain Goat Hightail Ale. Rescued a case of it and a case of Monteiths Winter Ale that are out of date at the end of the month. Hightail is pretty good

I always found the Mountain Goat stuff to be a bit par for the course, though the Hightail is the better of their range.

The same people who distribute Mountain Goat also sell Moo Brew. Now that is a top drop (and a bloody expensive one at that!)

I quite like the Steam Ale, but the Hightail is pretty good for a rescued carton Wouldn't pay full price for any of them though

What would you say is the absolute worst beer you've ever had? I was unfortunate to have a Fosters Light ice once as it was near the end of a 21st I was at and it was literally the only beer they had left. One mouthful was enough for me, game over
