The only beer options I have are Bintang, San Miguel, Carlsberg, Heineken, Corona, Guiness Stout, Kilkenny, Budweiser, Anker, Bali Hai...

No craft beers here. The only thing that makes this bearable is a case only costs $30...

The four beers I've tried in Tanzania are meh.

Serengeti and Kilimanjaro go alright.

Safari is watery piss.

Tusker is tolerable.

I notice San Miguel is coming back into the mainstream market.(Dan Murphys etc). Not a bad drop at all.

Yep that's the one.

Also recently had a Timothy Taylors for the first time, easily have it again.

Funny how tastes can change though, I used to be a big fan of Budweisers, but now, they just seem average

The limes and lemons originated from Mexico I think it was, they put a piece of fruit in the top of the stubbie to stop the flies from crawling inside.

Maybe not, but a proper German radler is still tasty as. And I don't mean the shitty fake lime flavoured beers you get in bottles here. Also wheat beers with certain fruit purees. Awesome in summer

So, whats everyones drop gonna be over the Holiday season?
Do you go for whatever is on special? A favorite beer? Or is there one in particular you especially get for the festive season?

Generally I'll get whatevers on special - Heinys, Steinys, Coronas, VB, etc however during the holiday period (if its sunny) I'll usually get the summer ale, even if its not on special

so kinda forgot how potent coopers sparkling ale is..

used to drink it ages ago, but gave it away as i found i was a dickhead on it (high ABV x ability to down lots of it = rather drunk & obnoxious muzby)

however picked up a 6 pack of it tonight to entertain myself..

and yep.. tasty beer, but dear god it's a creeper..

Keg of golden ale and a keg of mixed berry vanilla cider. Should get me through.
