No idea what will happen but he shouldn't be allowed to play rugby while contracted to the NRL. The NRL should not register him until his Toulon contract is done.
If his contract hasn't been registered by the NRL he can do what he wants, but I don't think he can serve an NRL suspension without being a registered player, which means its waiting for him when he returns.

Yeah that's what I was getting at. Surely he cant be contracted to the NRL and serving a suspension while playing pro rugby. So don't register him and let the suspension be served if and when he does get registered.

Good for him, he's probably broke from snorting all his $$$ away. Wouldn't be surprised if he never played in the NRL again, especially if he makes a good impression over there and is able to pick up another contract

To my knowledge, Barba would never have played a Rugby game in his life. He is expecting to go to France and play in the top 14 side? Rugby can't be that hard can it, if this is what is going to happen? Raa Raas tell me their game is far more complex and difficult to understand.

If those blokes are even 1/4 right, Barba will struggle. Then where will be be?
