Benji was great last year for the tigers in the one game he played at centre in fact the simpler nature of it seemed suited to him. Perhaps this could be his next club move. centre for the sharks

I'll take him at the Broncs on the cheap. Has to be better than Hoffman at this point. He plays himself back into form and into a higher pay bracket, we piss him off when Milf arrives and hallelujah, everyones happy.

tigers attack is pedestrian they need some spark.

its their forwards who have been carrying them to victories.

As it stands, the Tigers are statistically the most attacking team in the NRL, by a fair margin too. I know it's not the ad lib style of attack that Benji used to ply but it's more effective. If you're judging our attack based on our performance today then you should acknowledge that our two attacking weapons were out. Later in the season when Farah, Tedesco, Sironen, Fulton et al return to the side and Brooks & Austin warm to their roles you'll see a more fluid attacking side.

Sowie and Wallace doing ok for Penrith. Dont want him ruining our club. I cant see a single club he could improve to be honest. Maybe a decent depth player if a club has no halves. But not s first grader anymore.

Bunji is done in the NRL

He better not return to the NRL, otherwise we're going to see and hear more Footy Show personnel and the media icons like Phil Gould creaming their pants over him galore. Funny how within the space of a year, you can go from having everyone say how good you are etc. to then go to a different environment where no one gives a stuff about you

He would be nuts if he asks for top dollar. He's stupid experiment really devalued himself. Can't wait to see the next video on which jersey he wears next.

This. He and his scumbag manager Tauber thought he could throw the whole Tigers board into submission with his threats...it didn't work, and he has literally paid a big price for that. A lot of league fans I know lost a lot of respect for him over the way he went about events that unfolded at the Tigers last year, not just because he'd been playing crap for the previous few years.

"I will honour my words about not playing for another (NRL) club," he said in July last year, announcing his intention to leave the code.

:lol:What a grub

Tigers dodged a huge bullet when Bunji knocked back their initial offer, which was far more than he deserved. He won't be getting anywhere near that money now if he comes back to the NRL.

Doesn't like being told the truth does he.

I pray for NZs sake they don't sign him. Imagine Johnson & Marshall as your halves. I shudder at the thought.

He will be over there at the first whim if Tom Shines is announced head coach of Warriors

Wouldn't be surprised if Benji signs with the Warriors now that his mrs has her own tv show in NZ

*sigh*

Yet ANOTHER person who has tried to get famous off the back of someone who was already famous. Feel sorry for you folk across the ditch

Anyways, if he does wind back in the NRL, watch for whatever club he ends up at to get a lot of Ch9 matches in the first 20 rounds (the fixed component of the schedule). Rabs and Gus will put pressure on Steve Crawley (director of sport at Ch9) so that they can continue to cream themselves over Bunji.

no doubt who'll have the scoop & will want Benji to play next year to make an easy replacement for Sonny Bill & Sam to cover all that empty space in his gossip column

marshall is no prima donna thats BS.

the guy came back from how many shoulder re-constructions

he was right about the players the tigers let go. especially when it was adam blair that cost them fifita and the others lol

tigers attack is pedestrian they need some spark.

its their forwards who have been carrying them to victories.

Benji was one of the main advocates for Adam Blair's signature. The bloke is done, you can blame the forward pack all you like but the forward pack aren't the ones throwing cut out passes to the touch judge, the forward pack aren't the ones who consistently fail to find touch from penalties, the forward pack aren't the ones letting in 2-3 tries a match from one on one missed tackles.
Benji just never developed him game, he's not as quick as he use to be and his kicking and passing game are below average IMO, his defence is abysmal.

The team that desperately needs a huge dose of unpredictability is the Cowboys, Benji would have to be an improvement over Lui and Thurston might not be the centre of attention while the opposition are distracted by a headless chook

Melbourne are having enough trouble winning with Roberts, not sure what his main infliction is, being useless or a jinx

Quick question.

As Benji was granted a conditional release to join Rugby Union and this in all likelihood contains a do not compete clause what would the process be for him to get a contract and what financial compensation could Wests Tigers seek to allow that to happen?

For Cronulla's sake I hope they do not get him. You want to see a cancerous boys club culture just reunite Slaeu, Heighno and Benchy

doesn't deserve the old money he was on.

if he pulls his finger out, he'll be very good for a club willing to take the punt. has a bit to prove.
