but there are other influences trying to push him to the Storm.
He is not keen on Melbourne, or living in Melbourne, but don't discount the powers that be on this one.
Poor little Cronulla syndrome. Powers that be! Newscorp/NRL? I thought he was a big boy. If he goes to Storm because clearly they are in better shape than us and Bellamy is coach. Never mind playing with the Big 3.
I think he will come here despite the 'powers that be'. Easy street with no pressure has its attractions too. Ennis probably keen too.
Benji can come here , play with Beau, play crap and who will care. Go to the Storm he will get pressured by Bellamy. Ennis can stay at Dogs and fight it out with traitor Lichaa or come here , cruise around knowing he will not get dropped. Sharks media can spruke the signing of 2 megastars and all happy at Remondis.
Remember , Tigers were crap most times even with Benji at his best. The last old bloke we signed who was any good was Lance Thompson.
Benji at Storm probably will go ok as under pressure and next to Cronk plus no mates to play with. Here anything could happen. Work harder to unearth the new Benji not recruit the used by date version. Many expected Eric to be a star but can't see him getting a single game.
As for other clubs not playing kids either. Very true, but they are not bottom of the comp. Macdonald moved position with QLD U20s to let Holmes in at FB, is 6 foot 4 and over 100kg. Played for PNG in the World Cup. Of course he could play first grade but doesn't have to as they have Mini and Scheck. We have Jono.
The more I ramble the more Koroisau makes sense. Forget Benji, we have enough representatives on the Footy Show.
Can you imagine , Benji at FB, IDG at hooker and TC at 6. Our days of grinding wins would be over. Benji lost yards of pace. He claims he got bombed in training at Union. As a confidence player , you wouldn't want him dropping any early on. Centre are you kidding. Him and Lootv would be the smallest in the comp. I think if he comes, he plays 6 and TC to FB. Most dont. He admitted he couldn't adapt to a new code, but our spokesman Gall days he could be centre. Remind me to tape the Manly game if Benji is at centre.
