Didn't watch the game, but boy do supporters of other clubs on here and on Reddit really, really hate Moylan and Cartwright.

Freddy having a bit of involvement with some of the Panther boys... Has he just coached some rep teams and a bit at the Roosters? I remember he had Anasta playing at fullback for them against us from memory

He had a Hooker today who was quick out of dummy half and engaged defenders around the ruck before passing which ensured he wasn't swamped by defenders and got plenty of ball 1 v 1 or 1 v 2. He also got the ball a few times two passes off the ruck which gave him a lot more room. This doesn't happen with us.

Wallace was tremendous last year and I'll never question his heart but I honestly think our forwards would improve immensely in attack with a change at 9.
Maybe it's time to bring Katoa through
I think he would make a huge difference

Anasta at fullback was comical.
I remember it well, peppered with bombs all up.
Braif fkn sucked harder than he has ever suked that night.

Yeah I like Katoa, he is captain of the cup side and tough enough to play lock, he has a handy short kicking game also though that wont impress Griffin.

But he did score the winning try,and an historical one at that. Panther Tamou scores 1st try for City,Panther Carty scores last try for City.

He looked dangerous running the ball and average or worse trying to do anything else. We are f**king up his development badly. He is a running back rower, he needs to be allowed to focus on that.

True, but that interception should half be blamed on Peachy as he was running so wide, the guy defending read it like a book.

Peach I think had the Sun in his eyes and made a bad judgement in positioning himself. Not how wide he was when Carty threw the pass. And of course note the look on Peach when he gave Carty the "WTF were you doin' bro?" death stare. :)

Cartwright is a ball playing back rower ideally. Basically people made their mind up at what he was with his body shape and never got past it.

All I know is when he is running the ball hard and straight and using his footwork he looks dangerous, breaks tackles and makes good metres. The more he gets the ball and looks to ball play, offload and run sideways the more he f**ks up and the more he hurts his team. His first option should always be run but playing as a 5/8th forces him to do more, as ive been saying since last season you put him in a position where he feels like he has to do more and he will overplay his hand and f**k it up more often than not. He desperately needs a coach to simplify his role not make it more complicated. He is on a fast track to being a rich mans Joseph Paulo which is a huge waste of his potential.

Its ok. We still scored the crucial tries through our boys. We had a few Panthers score in rep weekend

Latu x2
Kikau
Tamou
Carty

All forwards aswell. Carty might have playee 6. But thats clearly not his position.

I think a lot of his errors are born out of frustration he is being crucified at the moment , he made the 3rd most metres yesterday and up amongst the highest tackle count with one good hit on Sims ,the sooner he is put at lock or second row the better for all concerned the coach is going to ruin any chance of him developing at this rate.

Yeah I agree with most of this. Put him in a position where he can just run the ball, chances for him to use his skills will come off the back of that.
