Dane Tilse?

I'm not sure about that one. Obviously has some ability. Also he signed during the year so i didn't count him. Same as Brett Firman , signed during the year so N/A

He may have been signed but he couldn't play cause of his 1 year suspension or something. All I know about the guy is that he is big which will do for our side.

He was suspended by Newcastle for his involvement in Bathurst before the start of the comp.

Grant Rovelli will do well for the Warriors. Yet to play first grade but will be a very good buy.

From a Broncos perspective, losing Learoyd hasn't had much affect on us at this stage, however in years to come it will. He has a lot of potential, but he has spent a lot of time this season in the Clydesdales, or on the sidelines with injury concerns, in particular in relation to his back and legs. I think he is a hit or miss buy for the raiders, and no in between. He will either be brilliant and bring a lot to them, or be a burden through injury and poor growth and form.

Darren Mapp will add nothing to Cronulla, likewise with Harris to the Tigers and Galloway to the Tigers. Those two will struggle to play first grade after the yeatr the Tiger's have had.

Lolesi will be solid for the tigers and probably take Pat Richard's place

Holdsworth will be solid, but not outstanding

Stu Webb could be good for souths, and if Souths can get a good 679 combination together they'll be stronger, likewise with the addition of Galuvao

Ross will be good for the sharks because I think their pack is seriously lacking, likewise with Albert coming to the sharks because the loss of peachey from their backline leaves them with no decent backs, except for perhaps vagana

OHara will be great for the Tigers, I think they need a good prop like him as long as he stays injury free

Crocker will improve his football under a decent coach like Bellamy, I think Stuart offers him nothing and the Roosters give him no opportunity to grow. He plays so much better for QLD than he does for the Roosters and I think he will bring a lot to the melbourne pack if he keeps his head screwed on

Steve Bell and Matt Orford to manly are big signings for them. I think Manly have got a great forward pack, but from numbers 2-6 have nothing to really offer.

Anasta will be crap for the roosters and will fizz out, just like roberts, finch and monaghan have. All have been good the years before going to the roosters, and now theyre very ordinary.

Ash Harrison will be a good buy for the roosters but I dont think he shouldve left souths because he has been inspirational for them over the last few years

Carney = buy of the year in my opinion. The knights have developed well over the 2nd half of the season and have taken the opportunity to find new talent and give them experience. Although this season is a write off, I think Carney will be terrific for them and provide stability on the wing. Alongside Johns I think it will be a dangerous combination, even though it is just a one year stopover

Excellent post. A rarity in this forum.

Darren Albert is going to carve it up next year. If he can't score more than 15 tries next year on David Simmons wing than i'll run up Oxford street in my birthday suit...

Very injury prone... don't put the mockers on him just yet!!

I think when Greenshields > Sharks is confirmed, that we'll find the best signing...

I'm biased but I think the Sharkies have recruited the best this year... :D

For value and investment - Holdsworth to the Dogs for mine. Obviously only gonna get a start at the Dragons when Barrett is injured, but has plenty of talent, can find a gap and has a clever passing game. Can only get better for him.

if roberts has been a dud for the roosters, and still managed to score 16 tries behind the crappest attack in the comp, im very excited to see what he'll do when playing well
although i do admit he could pick up his involvement a little

Judging someone's season by the amount of tries they score isn't necessarily a true indicator. There is no way he has been the threat he was when he was at the panthers since joining the roosters. He hasn't been hopeless, but when his career was on the way up and growing, it has taken a step backwards. Big disappointment.

Carney will be good, hes the best winger in the world.
Harrison will be a top buy
Stuart Webb could be a very good buy for Souths.

I am going to Harro for the Rorters. The Guy has busted a gut with the lads from Struggle street. I can only imagine he can achieve with a team of stars...

I'm more excited to have Harris and Galloway at the Tigers than O'Hara and Lolesi. For O'Hara and Lolesi i think we have seen the best they can do while both are boarderline rep players I think they have played as well as they can at their current clubs. When Tim Sheens gets to work with Harris and Galloway he will turn them both into rep players something that probably wouldn't happen under either of their current coaches. They will also fit in very well with what Wests Tigers need and thats offloading forwards. If they can offload as much as they usually do in a match at their current clubs then Hodgson, Benji and Prince will have a field day in attack. If Sheens can get them doing even better quality offloads then I'll be very happy.

My pick is Galloway at only 19 he has already played 3 years of first grade and done reasonably well against players who have had much more experience in first grade. A year or 2 with some decent coaching and he will be knocking on the selectors door.

I went for O'Hara to the Tigers - not the best player signed, but should be a great addition to the Tigers

I think Croker will be a great buy for the Storm. Their forward pack has lacked about of aggresion for a while now. Crocker will get the Storm boys fired up. Sure he'll give away the odd penalty, get suspended every now and again, but if he can get the likes of Chan, Johnson, Hoffman ect fired up, it'll be money well spent.
