BGA Store "Soft Opening"

Hi Guys,

I decided on my lunch time walk to go for a stroll down the Football office, and boy haven't some things changed. The Old FC Staff room has been converted into the BGA Store with a new area at the Front to allow access I would presume after normal office hours.

The BGA Store is still without its TV's and signage and the offical opening is in Febuary but at the moment it open with all sorts of New season eels Merchindise, including Jersey's both the Blue and Gold, as well as the Heritiage Jersey that appear as though it will be available during the entire year.

Photos below.

Outside (you can see the outside of the FC Building is being rendered in Concreate)

Inside the bulk of the store (taken from behind the counter). Also Chris who is the new Merch Manager.

Huh Jess? We have had a club store for almost 15 years, it has just moved from one LC controled building to another.

Will be interesting to see how late this stays open, I was speaking with CAT and the new guy Chris about it being open late and at the Moment with only Chris running it and a new person starting soon, I don't think he was overly keen on the 9PM Idea I had.

Ahh yes, but the BGA Store was proposed, approved and actioned within a very short time. That alone is progress!

Also the prospect of having a store not manned by people who are also running the Leagues Club desk and the Ticketek computer at the same time sounds much friendlier!

Jess, I am just saying we will see in the fullness of time, what has allowed them to move with such haste.

Having said that, It is still run on all the LC systems so not that much has changed apart from the location.

No doubts Del, I am a glass full guy myself. I am more highlighting that this might not have been the pure effects of progress, and there might be significant other reasons. Either way it is a great little store the TV's get added soon and is a boon for Eels fans.

@PG, I am going back tomorrow so I will find out.

@ Suity. No but they will have TV's above the Top shelf showing Game highlights and DVD's that are for sale and the like.

Chris didn't know were to get some of the other DVD's so I was going to drop him a note on where else I had seen them for him to get in touch and find out.
