Given BDO will sell out a much larger venue in a matter of hours while Soundwave stil have tickets available after over a month of sales I doubt that.

Even though I don't like this line up (I don't like metal) it will still be an immensely popular line up for plenty. Tool fans alone would sell out the Sydney leg 4-5 times over... they are batsh*t crazy.

Soundwave has a fantastic line up though this year and I'll be hoping to get along to both

Soundwave's venue is the problem. No shade rubbish transport and takes you hours to leave the carpark if it was the same venue both would go quickly.

soundwave still ahs some online and at City beach in Parra

Yeah but this year the band said they wanted to tour at that time of the year and twitter had them as coming.

I myself wasn't that confident Travis still is scared of flying still so it would be difficult to come and move between the cities not to mention coming halfway around the world.

As for the lineup it's decent but prob not worth the hassel to fight for the tickets. I will just attend a couple of sideshows. If someone really good gets announced in the 2nd round. I will head interstate if needed to get tickets

Get the merkin on a boat now!

Shihad is the better album. How can you go to a Shihad gig and not see Home Again or La La Land or Interconnector? Would be a bit of a waste...

During the TGE show at Annandale they played La La Land as a second encore ;-)

Tool
Rammstein
The Black Keys
Airbourne.

I'm sold. Well worth the $150.

I'd like to see Tool and Rammstein, and Andrew WK would be fun to see as well. It's still nowhere near as good a lineup as Soundwave's though!

Got our tickets this morning as well.

Was actually up at 12:01 for the online release on BDO's website... all gone by 12:05 (f**king tool fans)

Trying to suss out if Soundwave fits the budget, with the major hurdle being that its in f**king sticksville so will cost a motza in travel

I forgot, was up and everything when they went on sale. A few mates got extras so I'm covered

Second Sydney show happening apparently.

A SECOND Big Day Out show has been added for Sydney after tickets sold out in minutes on Wednesday morning.

Music fans are being offered the chance to see headliners Tool, Rammstein, Iggy And The Stooges and dozens more acts at a second date on Thursday, January 27.

It's only the third time in the festival's 19 year history that two shows have been staged in one city, after a second Sydney show was added last year.

Big Day Out will also be staged in Melbourne, Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide with ticket sales staggered to cope with expected high demand.
