Really the Knights have been downward spiral the day Andrew Johns retired...A one city rugby league town and you have to pay overs to get players from other clubs to play for Newcastle...So much for developing your own players.

Really the Knights have been downward spiral the day Andrew Johns retired...A one city rugby league town and you have to pay overs to get players from other clubs to play for Newcastle...So much for developing your own players.

Reason for that is Newcastle is the biggest bogan infested sh!thole on the East Coast.

Why anyone with half a brain would want to live within 80 clicks of the place is beyond me, and walking through the place it is pretty obvious I'm right. No one with half a brain to found.

I'll bite.

In the past 2 seasons our club has won the NRL title and our u/18's and u/16's won the national titles also. Last year if we won our last game of the season we would of also won the club championship with our 20's making a deep finals run. Compare this to the Knights jnrs coming through.

Brace yourself for another 3-5 years of hoping to finish 12th. If your club had brains it would be chasing Townsend for the halves position at 70% of the price and not panic buying a "name" who has no organisational skills or kicking game but claims he is a half.
