1 big game? f**k off. Did you even watch game 1? Hoppa dummy half runs were metre or two at best. Roberts can contribute when there is an arm wrestle by breaking the game open. You are just talking shit again like that defence argument which was just blown out of the water.

you mean that irrelevant point that compared playing in the centres at club vs someone who plays wing for origin? think about it mate, that was laughed off as it should have.

to be relevant do you have stats for jennings and morris in defence vs roberts?

he is exposed time and time again for defensive reads and you expect him to step up against the biggest and fastest instead of a weekend highlight against the dogs reserves

Some people just don't see it. Hoppa is there for defense, Daley is using his large frame to combat Inglis on that edge. If we had all our players fully fit, he wouldn't be there. Hopefully next year we can cut out guys like Jennings, Pearce, Hoppa and Hokko.

1. Dugan
2. B.Morris
3. Mata'utia
4. J.Morris
5. Ferguson
6. Austin
7. A.Reynolds

Sezer is the same as Reynolds but with stronger defence and a better running game.

Reynolds has a better kicking game, defense is equal but yeah Sezer does have a better running game. But I'm not sold on Sezer, I haven't seen that level of consistency to suggest he will be able to handle origin.

no he can't, he's a centre or nothing, he offers no impact from dummy half if anything goes backwards like he showed in city country and would not know when to drop back or shut down, has hardly been tested in the air. he'll probably get selected when he shows he can contribute when there's an arm wrestle (in origin's case 95% of the time) but didn't get a chance this year rightly because of this reason

ps love how every player gets a campaign after 1 big game

ps he has had 13 big games this year

again, that's against a virtual dogs reserve side, qld's defensive line won't allow that much space on it's heals on his own 5 metre. in a proper rep fixture, again....HE WENT BACKWARDS

interesting video nonetheless, did you see the bad read on pritchard that nearly cost them the match with 5 origin players out for the opposition?

If you need a large frame to defend against Inglis, how about:

1. Dugan
2. B. Morris
3. J. Morris
4. This guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG4EfY0Yw7E
5. Ferguson

Prove it. The only knock you have on Roberts is that CvC game and if 1 bad game ruled you out of contention for the blues we wouldn't have a side. The rest is you making shit up like Roberts being a bad defender which is just horseshit.

Morris averages 11.7 Tackles and 1.7 Missed tackles and Jennings is making 13.7 tackles and missing 1.3 on average so Roberts compares very well with those two and is clearly better than Hoppa this year stats wise. Hard to say with Brett Morris as he plays FB now for club footy.

i didn't mentioned defence, but as you brought it up his D is still suspect and given the above points the reason why he's not yet worth the risk.

everyone gets caught up with what do you do if you have possession and field position....the question is what do you offer when you don't have possession and field position and roberts gives up alot

defending just happens. managers don't consider defensive organisation, and teams don't work on defence structure.

read leagueunlimited forums long enough and you might be convince that the defensive phase of the game doesn't exist.

Fifita for Jackson and I would love for Pearce to somehow not play and fot Austin to take his spot. Pearce is just trying to play like Austin anyway with jinking runs and crappy kicks. Let's just pick the real thing.
