Its a highly subjective thing rating the stadiums as there is such a disparity. I love Shark Park. Love it. Its my ALL TIME favourite, but it clearly lacks some amenities (like cover and being an all seater).

And I gotta admit that it is weird seeing Leichhardt be lauded while Brookvale gets panned when they are essentially the same.

All shark Park needs is bit more cover and its fine.

That is an unadulterated dump when it comes to watching footy - if you want to see the game you've got to pay twice - once to get in and then again to get a seat.

The train change at Lidcombe? No different to connecting buses from Central to Allianz, which for some reason people seem to think is "easily accessible". Otherwise there's a billion parking spots within a few minutes walk, a train station at the door for major events and those coming from the west.

ANZ is far more accessible to the majority of the Sydney basin than Allianz. Fact.

Went and watched Melbourne v Cronulla at AAMI last monday and that's a fantastic stadium. We were behind the goal posts and still got a decent view of the whole field. Nice and close to the action too. No complaints at all about that place.

No i go to the football for the football. Im not a hill person. And ive never been able to get a seat whenever ive gone there.
Any ground that has such a High percentage Hill Vs Seats ratio is not NRL standard. Dont give a shit if you think otherwise.

Sample sizes are relevant no matter what the poll Timmah. You seem happy to argue the results, but when there is every chance that a dozen central coast footy fans voting for their local ground (possibly in the hope of jagging an expansion team) having a material effect on the poll results, I'm happy not to give them much credence.

Mate - I went to Shark Park with an NRL general admission ticket
I went in - and then was told if I wanted to sit down I had to pay again

If you want to stand there is a massive hill on the North End, not to mention two hills next to Peter Burns that are well elevated too.

You got a General Admission ticket. You dont get to seat in ANY seat you want.
You have to go to the northern end of the field and sit behind those posts. Those are the ONLY General Admission seats
Unless this was pre 2006 which had the upgrade system.

I had the exact same experience - despite attempting to buy reserved seats and being told it was sold out, and then having to see literally dozens of empty seats in every single bay, each being carded by a middle-aged woman in a blue jacket.

There were literally more ushers/stewards whatever you want to call them at Shark Park than at ANZ. It was absurd. Thankfully they wandered off at half time and we sat down.

But yeah, it's sh*t.

Sounds like more youve had a problem with the merkins that run the ticketing at shark park.
And they are f**king merkins. Even as a member ive had run ins with them.
