Once again, I need a lie down and a stiff drink.

Poor Andrea. Poor Jesse. I really want a happy ending for Jesse, but how does he end up anywhere but the loony bin?

Amazing episode.

Honestly didn't care about Andrea dying though. Sucks for Jesse but she has been a nothing character for a while now.

Most people that have died in the show have been in the game. Exceptions like the bike kid.

But when a known innocent dies its always a little more shocking imo.

Poor Andrea. That was heartbreaking.

Hope Walt destroys Todd and his crew with his machine gun next week. Nothing he can do will make up for what he's done, but at least he can get revenge for Hank, Gomez and Andrea.

So whats everyone's predictions for next week?

Does walt go after his former partners at grey matter or was that a red herring?

Gilligan makes some very bold moves for this show , I can see the ending being truly epic.

Surely he goes after Jack. If he goes after Eliot he's f**ked and only makes Flynn's opinion of him worse.

I'm surprised Skyler hadn't been killed by this episode.

And good on Saul for standing up to Walt.

I think the showing of the Grey Matter guys was to show that that he has truly turn Bad.

He called his son to help with money which was always his motivation, for better or worse, only to realize that his help is no longer wanted, he has destroyed everything, his son hates him etc etc.

He was ready to call it a day and get arrested until he saw the news, the line from the couple "the caring, nice guy that he used to be is gone" or words to that effect. His jealousy of them is what started all of this, to start the empire, to have bucket loads of money.

I think at that moment he realized it too, he isn't Walter white anymore, he's Heisenberg.

And Heisenberg is going to f**k shit up.

Holy mother of god 1 episode to go, and Todd is such a cold blooded killer.

And to think Cranston didn't even win the Emmy :(

Yesterdays Emmy's were for last season (S5E1-8) I think you'll find next year Breaking Bad will scoop the pool for these final 8 episodes. This final season has been so so so good. IMO whoever votes on the winners probably thought we can't have Breaking Bad win everything two years in a row, & they realised there is no way they can't win almost everything next year without it looking like an absolute wrought, so they stiffed them a little this year.

I almost physically can't wait for next weeks episode. I was like a junkie craving his next fix for about an hour after the episode finished last night, who am I kidding I've been like this the last seven monday nights in a row. Once it's over & the realisation hits me that this is it, it's all over, I'm worried I might sink into a mild form of depression.

There's not been a show that I was so desperate to find out how it ended, yet so reluctant for it to end since The West Wing ended. Ironically it's often credited as being the show that started the 'Golden Age of Television' and a lot of people are saying that it's coming to an end with the conclusion of Breaking Bad.

Cool thing I just saw on twitter; The final episode is titled 'Felina' which I had just thought was another word for finale, or something. Not only is it an anagram for 'Finale' but

Fe - Iron.
Li - Lithium.
Na - Sodium.

Blood, meth and tears.

This episode cannot arrive fast enough.

Interesting, I always thought felina was reference to the man from el paso song where the story goes that the wife sticks by his outlaw man and they both get gunned down in the end.

Whilst I love the West Wing, particularly the sorkin years and season 7 , The Sopranos deserves more credit for the golden age of TV.

Ultimately it had higher production values & a protagonist that was a murderer yet a fairly likeable character.

The sopranos just broke a lot more boundaries that ultimately allowed for a show like Breaking Bad to happen.

I dont think the golden age ends here.

There are more networks than ever willing to invest big money into TV. ( HBO, Showtime, AMC etc)

And now you have the likes of Netflix investing in original series.

Yeah the golden age of television is going to be around for a while yet. Movies are f**king terrible theses days, I mean FFS we have romantic comedies like Silver Linings Playbook getting best picture nominations.

TV is where the brilliant original content is coming from now. I can't see that stopping for a long time to come either

Yep they are my next 2 shows now that dexter and breaking bad are over.

Boardwalk empire is also pretty damned awesome. Don't care much for Game of Thrones though. Can't be bothered with the fantasy business

I stopped watching Boardwalk Empire after what happened to Jimmy. Found it too hard to relate.

I don't know what to do when this is all wrapped up. Might get into dexter again.

Currently downloading the Conan episode where he interviews the entire cast of breaking Bad

Disagree with that. This year hasn't been so good for movies but it's not over yet. And last year had it's share of good ones.

And thanks for the Boardwalk Empire spoilers guys.
