Like f*ck it?

No, like help produce one of the strongest RL clubs in the country

In the heartland of RL

If Bullfrog never got involved in RL I'm not too sure that crowd on friday night would have been possible, because alot of the hype around that game was based on nostalgia and the traditional rivalry.

Yeah, real classy

He's done more for RL in one day than you can do in your entire life
He was an architect of Superleague in Australia, and hence has caused more damage to RL more than anyone here could do in their life...

It was nicer than calling him "scum".

Mr Moore had been actively involved in supporting Super League, and in securing the signature of the Canterbury-Bankstown coach (his son-in-law, Steve Folkes) to a Super League contract. Mr Moore offered his resignation from the ARL to Ken Arthurson outside a meeting to discuss the Super League problem on 1 April 1995. His offer was accepted.

The Storm's superstars like Slater, Falou, Smith and co weren't superstars until the Storm brought them through. They may not be from Victoria but we can thank the Storm for bringing them through. Certainly not a case of buying a ready made superstar.

Dogs finished last, they were smart enough to buy players and finished 2nd instead of sticking with what they had and finishing last.

Architect is just a descriptive word... hardly something that has to be proved or disproved. No stretching of the truth was involved, Moore was up to his neck in the rebel machinations, while holding a seat on the ARL.

Scum. RIP.

Now you're just backpeddling from your original "architect" post

I'll say quit while you're ahead, but you never even got that far

Backpedalling? It's not a debate... it's an opinion.

Moore was up to his neck in Superleague, he was the inside man sitting on the ARL Board, keeping his Super League buddies ahead of the game. Architect, supporter, whatever... it still spells s.c.u.m.

He might have been a good family man, had a lot of redeeming personal qualities, but as far as his contribution to the game goes, he put it back a decade.

Moore didn't give a sh!t about rugby league.
All he cared about was Bullfrog Moore and the Bulldogs.
Everyone else could go to hell as far as he was concerned.

he was a self serving toss and having seen his cry baby son as press conferences this year it clearly runs in the family

No, I'm just using all the words used by myself, wikipedia and you so far, that all spell out the same thing...

Moore was a traitor to the game that made him. Full stop. Call it what you like, but you can't evade the fact he undid any good he did for the game with his actions and involvement re superleague.
