The thing is Finch in 2008 basically had the same Roster Tim Smith had to work with in 2007. Now im not saying that its not our forwards because they are one of the main reasons but the other reason was Finch.

On Friday against the Roosters we had plenty of ball in there 20 and we just never looked like doing anything we looked pedestrian and predictable and the team just look confused.

I just find it funny that

2003 The Roosters Make the Grand Final against Penrith 2004 Finch has a good year and almost wins the Dally M playing along Fittler the Rooster, 2005 roles around and Fittler retires and Finch is left with Basically the same squad and the Roosters turn into a joke.

2007 Finch is number 6 for Parramatta and is playing alongside Tim Smith who leds the Eels to a Grand Final Qualifier in 2005 and Finch has a good season and the Eels go one game away from a Grand Final. 2008 after Tim Smith Leaves the club in round 4 Finch inhereits the same forward pack that was there in 2007 and the Eels turn to sh*t.

Finch only ever played 3 good games for us One was the Opener against the Bulldogs and the other 2 were against the Tigers who we always seem to dominate in the forwards for some reason.

Yes our club has a lot of Problems but for a side that was basically camped in the Roosters 20 for 20 minutes on Friday and we did not score well thats just not up to first grade standard and Finch is the one directing the plays.

Someone on the wall mentioned we've only won about 5 or 6 penalty counts since we flicked him. But Adam is right, its worth it just to get rid of him. This is why the idiots who think Funch is good need to sit up and listen. We had the EXACT same starting forward pack in 05 as we did in 02, 03 and 04 BARRING Fletcher leaving at the end of 02 and Tupou emerging in 2004, which meant Crocker was promoted to full time starting 11 in 03. And, I had actually forgotten that 2004 was the year Tupou burst onto the scene and was tearing the opposition apart. But, he couldn't continue that form because Funch delivered hospital passes like he was a Medibank private delivery boy.

LOLFUNCH couldn't step up to the next level, simple as that.

Parramatta 2007, same deal. Couldn't step up to the next level to be the difference.

That's why that idiot Noa talking about Funch being no better than Cronk is wrong. Cronk stepped up to take control of his team and win a premiership, Funch didn't. Parramatta 2007, Roosters 2003,2004 would win the Premiership with Cronk at halfback.

Fair enough that anybody would look like a world beater when Brad Fittler is winning games for you, but we won a premiership without him and lost two with him.

He f**ked up a glorious oppurtunity to go on the attack in the 2004 and we were left with a dead lock breaking field goal.
