You have to wonder about a person who hears a scuffle, and their first reaction is to start taping it.

Less than 30 minutes after the NRL announced its decision to suspend him, Stewart trained with his teammates at the club's Narrabeen base.
The coach, Des Hasler, addressed the players before they started drills. Stewart warmed up, flanked by his teammates, with a forlorn expression.
Television crews and photographers were locked out of the complex, helicopters buzzed overhead to try to shoot footage and club officials threatened to call police if any journalists entered.

Pathetic.

. Stewart is due to face court on April 7 over the March 6 incident, but police have confirmed to the Herald that the neighbour's vision, taken by a computer webcam camera, forms part of "the case" against him.http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/news...447343658.html

Why should *we* be hoping for anything when a large portion of us clearly disagree that he should have been stood down at all?
Because I assumed *we* all want what's best for the game's future. For it's image, it's revenue, it's sponsorship, it's crowds and ratings, the survival of its clubs in these tough times, and ultimately the survival of the code in a crowded sports market.

Or we could all just carry on "supporting the rights" of players charged with the most serious of crimes to keep on playing all year until their trials are over and a verdict delivered...

But he's probably of the same mentality as the person who took the mobile footage of SBW's "toilet tryst". It happens, you don't have to wonder about the mentality.

The footage reportedly is of two blokes having a scuffle, not of Stewart and the girl. So which spotty teenager wants to run down from their room and get involved in that?

So it's value as evidence must be slim to zero.
For the court and police to decide...

Hypothetically, if Stewart's dick was hanging out of his trousers on the footage while he scuffles with the old man, then it might be of more value than we are assuming.
