We all know that The Dolphins entering the NRL have sent Vicky Kicky house into a tailspin. Imagine their reaction when the PNG team is based in North Queensland and then followed by Brisbane 3 and NZ 2, which will effectively stop any further expansion of Vicky Kicky into Queensland and New Zealand.

How about we worry about our game rather than theirs. They already have four teams in NSW and Qld in any case and I don’t think they would be adding any more

I wonder why?
What's your excuse for Adelaide and Melbourne?

If adding a team to Perth is the magic answer then Melbourne should have 50k registered players. You'll say Melbourne only has 5k players because the ARLC aren't spending enough money on development officers. There's no evidence that spending hundreds of thousands on development officers will lead to a massive rise in participation.

Anyway, Tigers are no chance... Titans, Dolphins and the News ltd Broncos won't allow it, especially since Dolphins and Titans have poached some of the Broncos biggest names over the years.

Again for the hard of learning, Perth isnt Melbourne.
in 1992 when the city was less than half its current size there were 10k registered RL players. Its taken Melbourne 25 years of a successful NRL club to get to half that number.
PERTH isnt MELBOURNE. Not sure how many times it has to be said.

It’s less than half the population of Victoria

union has better roots than league and failed

blind faith and little else

population is only part of the equation.

union has better roots as league has been neglected, not because its a better game or more favoured. If theyd had stuck with it in the 90's Union would be much much smaller than League

ignorance and stupidity and little else

Your whole argument is population matters

why did union fail with better roots and a billionaire backer
