Dufty had his fair share of love and hate within his roller coaster career with us.

All I can say is I hope Sloan, Ramsey, Sullivan and Amone do find a far more settled first grade run soon. Our future depends on it. So far it hasn't been the case. Ramsey back for now looks on fire. Has put in the hard yards off the field.

I don't disagree Sullivan was off today and I am not going to make excuses of that but I also hope he gets persisted with in the short term in first grade in some capacity. Suited to Mbye's role perhaps. Sloan picked up a couple tries today. Maybe he gets a go at Rava's wing? but Hook likely to disagree and go with Moga.
If Hook doesn't play Sloan again this year particularly now that Rava will be out with a torn hammy, Sloan won't be happy.

Why can we not execute a set attacking play?
You know the ones where everyone knows their role, goes through the hands and finishes with winger scoring in the corner? Like the broncos try in the second half, like Souths, Sharks, Cowboys do every week.
All of our attack is one out, our tries are mostly individual moments of brilliance.
We are really poorly coached.

This thread is a great representation of how dragons fans take the good plays and tries when they come and then instantly turn on the team at the drop of a hat
The broncos had 8 players out. They were there for the taking. The dragons were abysmal. The broncos played well but the dragons were poor. If the dragons put in a bit more effort, then their frustrated supporters wouldn’t be bagging them out as much. And by bagging them out, they’re simply pointing out the issues that everyone can see

We got flogged by a team full of reserve graders.
Kevvie won, Hook didn't.

It's not all about the coach but geez a performance like that really doesn't do much to credit him as a competent coach. I know he will be frustrated with the team's performance but he has control over it, we don't. Deserves to criticised and compared with Walters who has done a lot more along with Payten at the Cows in the same time.

We looked good with the ball in the first half. Everything from there was a sign of a team not playing for its coach.

Posession and run meters were the same between both teams which means the halves need to perform and unfortunately for many who've been flying the Sullivan and Amone flags have been shown THEY'RE NOT READY.

How people would expect that a bloke they've seen or heard plays well in JERSEY FLEGG is ready to come in and replace a half who is leading the dally M count is beyond me.

Time to be patient and realise our team needs time.
Amone looked ready enough when he put Ramsey through, he’s done the same thing a few times. He never claimed to be a field kicker so I will overlook that and hisnin goal kicks are ok. You are being harsh, he is a keeper imo.

It's not just that Sullivan had an average game. The Bronco's back-up players rose to the occassion. Ours were passengers. With respect to Ben Hunt, he is leading the Dally M count because he is far and away our best player Every Week. He is carrying our side. Without him we're crud. It wasn't clear how cruddy we are until this week. Hunt's good form had papered over the cracks.

It's fine to play one of them but to expect to shift Hunt to hooker and play both in the halves is pure stupidity.

It’s the players that Payten and Walters have brought in compared to Hook that sets these coaches apart. Walters and Payten signing young bulls. Hook signing has beens and gronks

So happy I was!
Cannot wait for this game, wouldn’t it be fantastic to see our attack improve in this one, Sullivan have an absolute blinder and make himself undroppable.
Dare to dream
Yeah righto mate, they both shit the bed and according to your last post it's the coach's fault. If these blokes had as much natural ability that your premature, ill-advised post suggested we would've won hands down.

The coach showed the faith and your two men let him down, end of story.

It was obvious we missed Hunt today, but there needs to be a pathway for the talented young ones and having Hunt at 9 to mentor them through would not be stupidity but more looking to the future, we are not a top 6 team this year with or without Hunt at 7, but next year could be different if the rawness can be played out of these talented, eager kids.

Suli has scored two in 2 weeks turning the ball inside.
Keep doing that one than once or twice.
Run the angles.

I'm not giving up on the Amone and Sullivan combination just yet. It's a confidence thing as much as a physical thing. Hook no doubt will return Hunt back to the halves and probably at the expense of Bud. It's a work in progress but you can't exactly say either combination has really clicked for us this year.

Our first try was a set play

It shows how shit we are when the Bronx player went down and play was suspended for 5 minutes with us in possession on 5. All that time to think about a 5th tackle play. And what do we do? Get tackled on the 6th with no metres gained.
That just shows how dumb they are. All that thinking time and they can’t set up a last tackle play. I’m afraid the roosters will do a number on us next week.

You can also throw in that break they made where there was no support and the player got tackled. Then, when he got up to play the ball, there wasn’t anyone at dummy half. Piss poor performance this week
