Marshall accepted he would probably only play less than 10 games this year, majority off the bench. Of course who was to know Reynolds would be as injury prone as an 80 year old grandma

Just saw this in the Telecrap, written by Matty Johns and regarding key player for each team heading towards end of season.

In all of the Tigers' really great performances this season, Luke Brooks was dominant and decisive.

He needs to understand that Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah can't sit back hoping he takes control of the team.

No player is gifted control of the football team - they must take control. They are vocal, they are dominant, they blow up if they don't get the quality possessions. This is the next step for Brooks.

Based on this criteria, I think Moses is in front of him, but that doesn't make sense?

As I was re-typing that, I thought of Moses as well Tigerm. I guess that what Johns was simply saying is that Brooks has to stand up now, And Para were not naturally one of the teams mentioned in the article.

Moses is in front of him with the things that Johns says, but he is an arrogant little ar5ewipe and Brooks isn't. Moses has the attributes that Johns mentioned but what he also has is the blame game, he can pass to the linesman but it's the wingers fault for example.

Brooks needs to be more vocal, perhaps louder. Perhaps Brooks communicates with a small nod of the head, who knows, but I think it might be a case of getting up his forwards, don't be intimated by not only the likes of Farah and Marshall but others with a lot more experience such as the Kiwi trio, Lawrence etc. t's your team now Brooksy, take control.

I'm stoked with this seasons effort and I like how much better balanced our squad looks. I hope we fire up today as well.

Robbie was so bad though wasn't he. That was a poor reserve grade performance. He was just right off his game tonight.

My point during the week was that I had no confidence that Brooks could lead this team to the finals. We've heard for the better part of 3 years now that this is his team, he holds the reigns. Its time to get a new driver. He has failed again. He just doesnt have it in him. If we keep him it must be as a running 5/8th and the reigns handed to someone more competant.

Reynolds gets less likely to star for us as the years go by and each injury now reduces his longevity. Brooksy isnt a tactician nor a competant game manager. He is an "eyes up" footballer who doesnt trust himself enough. They dont inspire any confinence as a halves team for me.

Only if we punt Josh Reynolds and sign Adam. Josh has never been the cool game controlling type player before. Bit rich to think he will be so now.

Liddle, Brooks and Mbye all have pace and skill. Reynolds is a good running 6. Reynolds to me is the weak link in the spine but I think as a running half with a good team around him he may come good.

I'm not worried about this at all. They were all talking about the lack of game management when Penrith lost today. It had nothing to do with game management. It had everything to do with Cleary not being able to create anything. Same as Moses last night.

I don't see why Brooks has to dominate every play. He just has to do his job well.
