I agree with 90% of your post but take exception to this. Have you ever been through a bad break up? I have and even the people you thought were most sane turn crazy. Any sort of rational though goes out the window. You cant help but bring up raw emotions and argue with each other. If a chick asked for 200k to have an abortion, the smartest thing he could do was cut ties and get someone else to sort out the money she wanted rather than continuing to argue with her.

He paid her money because she asked for money to abort it.

The way that I have read it (and this probably has to do with the way that the media is conveying it) is that he paid her to have an abortion rather than her saying off her own bat "I don't want an abortion but I'll have one if you pay my 50 grand".

In which case, if she took the money, had an abortion and then went running to the media then she's got zero credibility in my book and it further reinforces my point about responsibility for ones own actions which, of course, you can level with.

Which part of the coverage states she asked for 50k in return as opposed to the other way around. Honest question. The article in the OP is really the only coverage/comment I have heard on the issue so far.

Sign of the times. On the radio the other day they said some stat that 22% of women would bang a married man while knowing he was married. Had people call up and brag about actively chasing married men and finding it funny when their wives found out.

I knew girls who bragged about banging married footballers who were 10 years older than them. I guess they are lucky the girls didn't run to the media because it would be front page news over multiple days apparently.

Mate, last year a woman in Melbourne who was the victim of an alleged assault by an AFL player in an eatery was "outed" by a very prominent journo who gave out her name and details of her job. She went on to receive Death threats from club supporters.

Assault victims require anonymity in these media reports and I can't imagine anyone would be against that.

Let's look at the supposed facts.

1) Bryce got her pregnant. (Nobody doubts this)

2) She got offered 50,000 to have an abortion at a certain stage last year which she did. (Also appears this is not in doubt).

Not for the hazy part.

Why is she suddenly coming out about it now?

I sincerely feel for the woman and am almost on her side, but why didn't she come out when she was originally offered the 50k?
