Does the term really matter - fixer, mediator, intermediary. Same thing

Having fathered a few children, I can honestly say I've never said I got pregnant but I'll give you the term "we are having a baby". LOL

It's the negative connotation you are driving at:
Bryce hired a fixer to force a girl he got pregnant to have an abortion.
V
Bryce and his ex-girlfriend engaged a mediator to help resolve personal issues arising from an unplanned pregnancy.

Other point being, I don't really like the "he got her pregnant" statement in these discussions, implying it's all his fault. And having fathered a few children myself, I also never said I'm pregnant, but geez there were a few people in social environments that liked to refer to the pregnant couple.

The media has a hold of this now so I can't see anything other than a NRL enforced suspension for "bringing the game in to disrepute".
The NRL has already stated its position on this, that it is a private matter. If a bit of media pressure is going to change that position, the NRL needs new managers.

perfectly put. It's the wording the lack of all the facts being reported that causes this BS

There's two ways for a real man to handle this.

1. I don't want to have a child with you but realise that you are pregnant now and it's my baby. I would prefer that you have an abortion but it's your body and if you wish to have the child I will support you and the child 100%

2. I want to have the child and be involved in its life. If you decide to have it, I will support you and the child 100%

Basically end of story.

I'd amend point 1 to:
1. I don't want to have a child with you but realise that you are pregnant now and it could be my baby. I would prefer that you have an abortion but it's your body and if you wish to have the child I will support you and the child 100% after the DNA test confirms I am the father.

Does anyone know when the earliest you can have a DNA test done - is it after the birth or can it be done in utero?

Lolwut. Men opt out all the time. Luckily they can't opt out of financial responsibilities.

The conundrum is that it is morally objectionable to force a party to have an optional surgical procedure, when they dont want one.

Don't go in raw boys.

You have completely missed my point.

I agree with the bolded part. Bryce is clearly an imbecile no doubt. .

The NRL has already stated its position on this, that it is a private matter. If a bit of media pressure is going to change that position, the NRL needs new managers.

You mean private like being secretly video taped in someone's house or in the men's toilets? This is far from over and believing anything otherwise is ignorance.

I'm not driving any connotation, thank you.

I don't believe the pregnant lass was ever classified as the girlfriend, to be an ex. That was another young lady.

I suggest as a Pennies fan, you are highly emotional and looking for excuses of his behaviour.

The old conspiracy theory of, he's possibly not the father being run by the Pennies fans - good one.

You'd normally have to wait until a child support assessment has been issued I'd expect.

I'm sure it could be done in utero but like other such tests there is risk involved.

Bryce appears to have accepted that the child was his.

Completely and utterly different matter. Pearce was free to seek redress for being filmed without his permission and the footage being broadcast, but has apparently and perhaps wisely not done so.

OK, Bryce and a young lady engaged a mediator...

Not a Panthers supporter for the record
