What school?;-)

Please address what would happen if you told your employer you were going to take the day off work because some idiot named Joseph Smith made up some bullshit.

Why are churches allowed to hoard assets and claim tax exemption.

Dude, I'm not trying to spin religion and I'm not "not" spinning religion. each to their own.

See I'm a fan of freedom of speech (in this case, beliefs), as Voltaire said "I might not believe in what in what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it" (sic)

Same. I had a tumour removed in 2006 and I was lucky to live. So many people told me to thank god etc etc. My reply was that I would rather thank science and my belief in myself to not give up.

God had nothing to do with it.

God probably put it there... for a reason.

There must be a podcast or a webinar he can listen to late on a Sunday night to catch up.
And to be fair, it's not like they have any new content. It's the same psycho babble bullsh!t they rehash every week.

*IF* this is a serious post, you would have to first prove that a god exists before you could make such a claim.

If it's not a serious post, but rather banter, then it's pretty cruel.

I would reply but whats the point... when people arent willing to hear both sides of the story and basically saying its a load of sh#$t and stupid I guess im one of the 1%

I wonder if Will is reading this, can he read?, his old man carries on like he's never sat on a chair before. Foreign, both sides of the story have been expressed. 'God' sent his son to be tortured and die a horrible death (top dad that bloke) and today the son rose from the dead (what ever that means). Makes perfect sense, who wouldn't to follow this mumbo jumbo.

Not cruel. I had a tumour and during the operation they discovered another issue which they were able to deal with and save further problems down the track. I was thankful for the tumour.

I thanked my lucky stars.

Had you led with that in the first place, your previous post would have a reasonable context.

Thanks for sharing your story, mate. They took my appendix while they were there when I had my tumour removed,.

I didn't realise the bible banned football on Sundays. I knew about these though.

So going by the last one on this list, we're also not allowed to reply to Perth Red's or East Coast Tiger's posts.

He is probably just trying to be doubly religious to get his dad into heaven as well
