Anyone want predict the next breakout star.

Draxler - Shalke. Although he has broke out a fair bit already.
Emre Cam - Bayer. Not really made a name for himself yet, would be looking for a good chunk of games to do it.
Inui - Frankfurt. Settled now in BL1 and will be looking for a big year and World cup next summer.

Apparently WB are still a work in progess

No shit.

Gee Dutt's a genius. Last year pretty disappointing as WB have fallen from grace from being a UCL team to mid table and I dont see that changing much this year.

Defence is a problem and DeBrouyn nas gone back to Chel$ki.

Do you reckon it will be worth a cheeky bid for Kroos at Bayern?
He is a Werder fan, his brother plays there and he is going to struggle to get a game this year in the BM midfield.

Just finished watching the match. Very entertaining.

It's refreshing to see sides go to imposing away fixtures and not park the bus. However, Dominguez must be an early candidate for biggest moron of the year.

TT, did you notice any great changes in FCB's play? They certainly had elements of Barca under Pep but I'm not sure if that style was also present under Heynkes (since I didn't watch them that much last season).

Playing out from the back. Lahm and Alaba are already up field while Dante and Boateng are wider. Possession was lost in the middle third a lot where last year it wasn't because there were two midfielders - Martinez & Schweinsteiger - instead of just Schweinsteiger. That leaves a huge gap if Borussia were pressing harder and counter attacks were easily stopped with the 2 DM under Jupp.

It feels like the early stages of LVG who was persisting with the slower possession based game tactically and changing the formation. Pep will persist the tactics but may change the formation until they're comfortable. He's definitely bring the Barca style.

Whats interesting is Lahm playing RB, Alaba LB. Do you think thats the long term plan? Both their natural positions if we go by their natural foot. Unsurprisingly Dani Alves is a right footed right back. Is Lahm going to be used as attackingly as Alves?

The point was already made you dickhead.

If the point was you demonstrating a lack of knowledge then i agree it has been made several times already.

But I was talking about Kroos possibly leaving as he will struggle to get a game and got into the team yesterday as both new signings were not playing, so the point that in the system Pep will play he is third choice has not being made.

Unless you think they will replace other players (or not get into the team), then you could make a point, but that involves intelligence and requires someone who doesn't just turn up for the glory games so I guess that reply is all i will get.

Pep has already said he will be rotating players a lot which if you kept up with things you would know this already

Dickhead.

Langerak played quite well for BVB too. They're now 11-0 when he starts.

Schwarzer's move might backfire.

Great debut from Aubameyang.

This will be a great season in the Bundesliga and it could really g down to the wire.

As ive said, there isn't a lot of difference in Bayern and BVBs best XI ... but it's squad depth where Bayern have a big edge. Mainly in midfield.

My Neverkussen started ok. Son looks a great buy, might be able to push for a CL place if luck goes our way.
