I know it is early days but...

I caught the some of the highlights prog on telly and the defending was like a tragic comedy.

The Hamburg vs Shalke game was embarrassing. The first goal scored by Hunterlaar just made the goal keeper look like a sh*t. It didn't improve.

Stuttgart vs Mainz was just one big disaster. The first goal by Mainz (scored by Moller i think the commentator said) was a msterclass in defenders missing the ball, standing around in random places and falling over.

I may be being unfair and the other games were very good defensively but i doubt it.


Hopefully it will get better as the teams get their match sharpness back.

Defending did seem pretty hapless at times. The double handball in Bayern vs Gladbach was ridiculous :lol:

Teams firstly need to be attacking-minded to expose weak defences - something all BL sides are.
