3 years is because before then we were known for how many of our own we had, you can go back to there if you want blokes like asotasi, myles, thurston, sbw, mason etc will just pop up.

• SBW is offered a massive 3 year contract with the Dogs
• SBW Asks for a 5 year deal which he is given
• The Bulldogs are part way through a shit year
• Bulldogs organise a Poly day so SBW feels more involved with the club etc
• SBW fakes injury and does not play in Poly Day against the Warriors
• Following week SBW leaves town without a word to his team mates, Coach, Employers, fans etc
• SBW, Khoder & Mundine proceed to rubbish The Bulldogs every opportunity they get

Personally, I will not support ANY team that SBW plays for. I really hope this business with the Bulldogs is B/S.

THE Canterbury Bulldogs last night furiously denied claims the club had approached former star Sonny Bill Williams to return to Belmore.

A report on Channel 9 news suggested a Bulldogs official had made contact with Sonny Bill's manager.

"There have been no meetings or discussions regarding Sonny Bill Williams and there is no intention for that to change," Canterbury CEO Todd Greenberg said.

"The Bulldogs have no interest in Sonny Bill Williams, we moved on long ago. I can't make it any clearer than that.

"We won't be dragged into any further comment regarding speculation relating to Sonny Bill Williams. Our focus at the Bulldogs is the opportunity that is in front of us, not on the events of the past."

To add to your timeline after he'd already signed his 5 year contract and when Mason was released early he wanted the club to upgrade his deal as they had more salary cap space. As an Eels fan I hate the Bulldogs, but gee I felt sorry for the fans when this went down. No fans deserve that.

His comment about bus drivers not having a salary cap is probably one of the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone say.
