Doe anyone else get physically sick playing this game.

Have a 55 inch plasma, with 7.1 surround and i can not play this for more then 15 min without getting full cold sweats, and feeling ill.

Something to do with the side to side movement, and the depth, gives me a sea sickness feel.

Apparently this is quite a common condition these days, I bet it doesnt happen on all games.

This may sound silly, but one "cure" is to play more video games to train your body to get used to it.

Yeah.

I get that sometimes.

Also the new patch out means better connections. YAY!

I haven't played playstation for 2-3 years before I got the PS3 and COD. Played it alot and felt fine. Sort've felt a bit buzzed in the eyes after but that was probably just from starring at the screen for a few hours lol.

I've been playing Wipout with my partner. You know, the futuristic racing game with techno and flashing lights.

We barely blink.

I reckon give it a few more weeks and this will happen.

The game pays a lot of homage to Aliens IMO. The sentry guns and heartbeat sensors are straight out of Aliens and I think there are a few quotes in the single player mode taken from Aliens.

Lance Henriksen, who plays Bishop also does some voice overs in the game.

Quite fitting IMO. A great game paying some props to arguably the greatest action movie of all time.

Just finished the 7 act's of this game.

only took me like a day and a bit.

I can't help but feel a little underwhelmed with all the hype.

the game comes into it's own mate during on line play. It is more addictive than crack when you are playing on line.

Campaign was a HUGE let down.

Online is very addictive and fun. Altho very frustrating and inconsistent at times.

Why on Earth would anyone be expecting a lengthy single player campaign? All the games in the series have been shortish, but had awesome multiplayer. The single player in this game is possibly the best in the series, and thats not including spec ops. The multiplayer is a bit of a let down at times due to the non-local servers and some of the maps aren't great, but on the whole is one of the better multiplayer FPS's around.

well as Someone who doesn't play online alot...I was expecting something a bit more than 7 acts.

I'd never played a CoD game before and with all the hype was expecting it to be freakin awesome.

The graphics were good...but the game itself IMO is not that great.

Glad I just hired it for 3 nights for $10 rather than buy the thing for $90.

I hadnt played COd before ethier...so i wasnt aware of the short campaign....i traded a couple of game sin and got MW2 for $2 so im not worried about the money i paid and i guess the $90 would have been worth it for the spec ops and on-line alone. But still...why bother even adding the single player element?

I finally bought an XBox 360 Elite earlier this week and also picked up FIFA 10 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (not 2).

Ive got to say the graphics in COD are pretty exciting but Im struggling to get "into it". My fav game is Medal of Honor: Frontline on PS2.
So what Im struggling with is having all the AI guys with me....I hardly get into any "action" as these guys go ahead and clear house....plus Ive got to make sure I dont shot them!

Just had my first online games - I suck.

Anyone interested in a private shoot out on PC?

Online play is where it is at.

There is a steep learning curve though. A really steep learning curve. You will die. A lot.

online is so frustrating. Im prestige lvl 54....and am pretty decent at the game IMO. But deadset i will encounter atleast 10 people everytime i play that are immune to being shot and stabbed! You can put an entire clip into em and they wont die.
