As a Souths fan, I'm 100% for the Central Coast bid.. They love league out there and deserve their own team before a bunch of AFL-first, Rugbyleague fan 2nd people do out at Perth.

Central Coast should get the next team and then one in Central Queensland. Keep Rugby League to the 2 states which have over half the population of Australia.

Yeah youre one of em.
Im not stating there isnt a link at all. Im saying the two aren't 100% the same thing.
People wishing praying for 1b tv deal are claiming it to be the great saviour of the game.
But all it is, is money.
Perth is and always be, just like Melbourne & Adelaide AFL first, Maybe Rugby League THIRD if were lucky.
f**king over a heartland because of some foolish idea that the pet shop boys sang about decades ago will be a good move other than giving the code another time slot will supposedly bring in millions/billions, Which it wont.

It still wreaks of nrl's ambition outweighs its reach.

But its okay.
A great example of why after 100 years RL is still a minor sport played in a handful of cities in the world.
Funny that you live in Perth and its main sport is even less minor and played in even less cities.

Central coast has just under 300k and a rugby league heartland.
Perth has 1.7 million and is anything but.

People are dreaming if they think taking a team to 1.7 million who 99% couldnt give a f**k rather than taking it to 300k who are mad for it, isnt a money based idea over whats right for the game.
Then youre as deluded as you are douchebag. :)

I can't be.

If I was a deadshit you and I would be best mates, Id be dumb enough to agree with your chock rafflle bullshit that the game needs another New South Wales team, that it makes more sense to favour 300 000 fans, the vast majority of which already watch the games, over an untapped potential pool of 1.7 million tv viewers.

We'd spend all day sinking piss, blaming the carbon tax for us not having more money to sink piss with, and following a bunch of spastics called the sharks each week.

lol, I am guessing you bemoan the death of the NSWRL running the game as well. Fortunately the new IC will be businessmen who understand that if our great game is ever to realise its potential it needs to shake off the shackles of Sydney suburb flat earthers like you and take the game to new populations and new frontiers.

Besides pull your neck in, it won't be a choice between Perth and the Central coast, it will be a choice between the Central Coast and Brisbane

Quite funny given the number of Sth's members in WA!:sarcasm:

As ive said.
Its Money based. You would get more bums on seats, caring about the game at the Central Coast than you will at Perth.
So its about the money the nrl can make, not about the health or whats good for the ACTUAL GAME.
Ive said this multiple times, but i just dont think its getting through youre dimwitted brain.
Money/Health are not the same thing. Stop proclaiming otherwise

To be honest, A 4th Queensland team still offers better health for the game than Perth will EVER possibly hope to offer.
Perth offers nothing to the game bar cash deposits and people patting themselves on the back that there is a team in Perth of all places.

You have youre agenda that you want to push, You want a Perth team.
Less face it, youre right, if the IC wants money, they will go Perth and 4th QLD team.
But that wont be whats good for the game. Its whats good for the NRL paid.

OK, CC Bears tick all the boxes. That's not enough. If WA Reds and Ipswich Jets tick just a few boxes they will be the next 2 franchises.

There is no need for an 11th NSW team. Even less need for a 10th team in the Sydney region.

2013... the hibernation.... continues...

See = that's confirmation that your just another deathriding dickhead looking for a windup. At least we didn't have to trawl through your normal longwinded pre-school dissertation pretending to be objective.

 It was a joke. We have all known for a while now that 2013 is off the cards for expansion. I think 2014 is looking very unlikely now too. Bit like the commission, keeps getting pushed back and back.

Perth has outdated grounds, below average infrastructure, little junior support, average fan support.
The only thing Perth offers is a another time slot and the idea that Perth/Western Australians will tune in to watch more games.

hahaha, thanks for the laugh.

As ive said.
Its Money based.
As Ive said, of course it is money based dickhead, money makes the game healthy. Try running a professional sport without it and see how far you get.

You would get more bums on seats, caring about the game at the Central Coast than you will at Perth.
haha define 'care' How the f**k do you know how a much a Perth fan would care about the game? Why wouldn't they care about their team just as much as someone from the Central Coast? Every team was new at some point. Get your head out of your own arse.
So its about the money the nrl can make, not about the health or whats good for the ACTUAL GAME.
So whats 'good' for the game is nothing more than your biased, baseless preconceptions on how much a Perth based fan will 'care' as opposed to how much a CC fan will 'care' Tell you what, how about you let the smart people run the game and you go join a few support groups instead?

Ive said this multiple times, but i just dont think its getting through youre dimwitted brain.
I've understood how stupid and pointless your argument is each and every time you've bored us with it.
Money/Health are not the same thing. Stop proclaiming otherwise

if the CC get in, what will there founding year be?
1908 as N Sydney, or 2013/2014? will they be considered a continuation of the Bears or a brand new team?

.

There is no evidence that this is true. Perth will have a bigger stadium, has avg'd bigger gates over the last few years than the CC and has a much bigger population base that is not 1 hour from their existing populations 1st team who they are probably already members of.

If you cannot see that RL needs to grow and that Perth is the best chance for true expansion and growth of the game then you are stupid as most on here consider you.

The fact Perth will also bring more money into the game than the CC is a benefit to the existing clubs, the fact RL fans in a new city will have an opportunity to watch live NRL is a benefit to RL fans in WA and the fact that we will get more kids playing the game, more businesses supporting the game and more people watching the game on TV is great for the game. Money matters, so does truly growing the game.
