He's the right player for them and been the wrong player for us.. he wasn't able to let our attack open up the way it is now, but cowboys desperately needed a cool head to straighten things up and keep em honest. I dare say he'll be overstaying his welcome in three years once their systems are in check but he really is what a team like that needs this year

The other theory (of mine)… 😂

He loved the Sharks so much that he put way too much pressure on himself to be a legend, which really did not help him play a calm, controlled game.

Honestly, he played well for Warriors, and now he is going alright up north…

Now that he’s not our problem, we can let go of the hate!!!
😂😂

Well, we haven't crossed paths with the Cows yet. We'll lose that because every Jonah here will be in for a week casting bad juju and negativity. Stake will be the leader - if someone tells him what to say that is.

Apologies in advance... But could've used a few dumping inside balls early in the set today to set up for a backline surge hey? Haha

Should be noted the cowboys lost to the dogs and warriors. They could easily be leading the comp.

in saying that their draw hasn’t been too hard. Beat raiders twice though 😀

For Cows to beat Raiders twice makes them genuine top 4 material

Chad is benefiting from having a great dummy half, Robson, I can see why he was always preferred to Blayke, who currently either through coaching or just who he is, is a potato.

Ennis made Chad look good, and Chad can be his vanilla cardboard cut out, would be robot, non threat self. How you have to use Iron Hair Chad.

Now Robson is making him look good, no Warriors or Braileys could.

Hats off to him… never been a fan aside from his comeback from being hooked in the semi final 2016 raiders…oddly enough that preliminary final v cowboys was outstanding.
See how the season pans out - when the whips are cracking his has tendency to lose his marbles. We will see

Maybe Payten is just a better coach than Morris and knows how to use Chad to the best of his ability.
To be fair, there’s certainly something in this. Chad isn’t really doing any of the fancy stuff, he’s just in the background, talking to the kids, making his tackles, putting up his shitty kicks (but he’s getting joy as they’ve got an absolute weapon in the air in that young kid), doing his drop offs etc…. He’s doing all the boring plodder stuff, to a decent standard, as he always has - but he’s freeing up the likes of Drinkwater, Dearden and their strike players from having to do any of the thinking or boring stuff. Chad gets them to a position and then they play footy.
